Mitron, one of the hidden gems in Thane. Almost around 5km from Thane Railway Station. It is situated on the 8th floor of Oriana Business Park. As you enter inside, the ambiance will take your breath away, just mesmerizing, specially in the evening and night. The chandeliers, lightings, high chair and sofa seating makes the experience even more amazing. A huge bar in the middle, where you can watch your drink being prepared. They also have a beautiful outside seating, wherein you can enjoy your meals with a beautiful sunset view. The service was good, they have a variety of option to choose your food from. A few which I tried are mentioned below :
Drinks: MALIBU BLUE : A hard drink, quite refreshing though, specially in this hot weather. It’s a mixture of bacardi, coconut rum, pineapple and orange juice, cream and blue curacao. Must try.
SEX ON THE BEACH : Quite a famous vodka drink. Enjoyed every sip of it. A combination of vodka with cranberry, pineapple and orange juice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Appetizers: TU CHEEZ BADI HAI MAST MAST : Quite an interesting name, it is basically the Mumbai special Cheese Chilly Toast. The taste was superb, loaded with loads and loads of cheese and served along with coriander chutney.
MURGH TANGDI KEBAB : AMAZING! This was one of the best tangdi kebab I have tried in recent time. The chicken was cooked nicely and marinated with creamy saffron sauce served along with cheese sauce and coriander chutney. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Mains : ALFREDO PENNE PASTA : Cylindrical shaped pasta panned in a creamy cheese sauce along with other vegetables. The taste was good. Served along with two garlic bread.
STIR FRY NOODLES : Simple but tasty, Nicely cooked noodles along with vegetables and served with Schezwan chutney. Could give a try if you are looking for something in noodles.
DESSERT : CHOCOLATE OVERLOAD : STAR DISH OF THE DAY!! One of the finest desserts I've had in a long time. Smashed brownie, Choco cookie topped with chocolate ice cream and ganache to make your taste bud taste heaven. Surely a must have dessert if you are a chocolate lover, you will go crazy.
Overall, a lovely...
Read moreReview for Mitron Thane: Disappointing Service & Lack of Accountability
I recently visited Mitron Thane, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. While the place has potential, the poor service, lack of accountability, and accessibility issues made it a disappointing visit.
Service & Hospitality: Extremely Disorganized
The biggest letdown was the terrible service. The staff seemed disinterested, slow, and unresponsive. Despite multiple requests, it took an unreasonably long time to get our orders, and the staff showed no sense of urgency or courtesy.
To make matters worse, when we raised concerns about the delay and incorrect orders, instead of resolving the issue, the staff made excuses and showed no accountability. Basic customer service expectations were not met, making the entire experience frustrating.
Accountability: No Concern for Customers
One of the most frustrating aspects was the lack of responsibility from the management. Complaints about wrong orders, billing discrepancies, and long wait times were either ignored or handled with an indifferent attitude. There was no apology or effort to make things right, which shows a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
Accessibility & Crowd Management: Chaotic & Unpleasant
The accessibility and crowd control were poorly managed. Despite reservations, we had to wait an extended period for seating. The place felt overcrowded and disorganized, with no proper arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service.
Food & Drinks: Overshadowed by Bad Service
While the food was decent, it did not compensate for the poor experience. Many items on the menu were unavailable, and even the drinks took forever to arrive. The lack of coordination between the kitchen and service staff was evident.
Final Verdict
Mitron Thane might have a good ambiance, but that’s not enough when service, accountability, and management are severely lacking. The poor customer service, long wait times, and lack of responsibility made the visit frustrating. Unless they seriously improve their service standards, I wouldn’t...
Read moreI went to this place for the first time on 5th April, with an expectation to have a blast. Me and my friends reached the location around 9.30pm and the place was literally empty with only fewer groups around and considering the pathetic quality of music my friend weren’t expecting more people coming to the club. But still i thought may be in sometime the music will get better and we can vibe on some better English songs or Bollywood songs, so we ordered food and some booze to kick start. After an hour i told the hotel manager to inform the DJ to play some better songs, accordingly the Manager informed the DJ. But the DJ was so reluctant and so egoistic that he continued playing utter boring songs. After some time (Arnd 11pm) my friend went and spoke to the DJ and told him to play some Bollywood songs, to which the DJ said since there is no public I will not play it. Then again after half and an hour I went with the Hotel Manager to the DJ and checked with him does he even intend to play better music today or not, as I was seeing everyone leaving the place. To which he said let there be some crowd then I will play. I told him if he continue to play such pathetic music forget about attracting crowd, people start to leave the place. After this the DJ got furious and tried to attack me. The bouncers got in between and stop the situation from happening escalating further. This is the first time I have seen a hotel staff trying to attack the customer for giving them their opinion about their hospitality. My question to the owner is that why is your DJ waiting for the place to filled in, do we don’t deserve to get a good music? Particularly when we are paying for the service?. And is the manner in which in which he attacked me is right? What would you have done if something would have happened to me? Please take serious action against the DJ. His name is Sanket Kankoshe, otherwise I will need to check with the Police Authorities regarding...
