Itâs the new year time and we were handed over attached flyer for a Java coffee and hot chocolate in 200 rupees. We couldnât believe and read the flyer multiple times. On visiting the Starbucks cafe, biller acknowledged the offer and billed us, when I saw amount deducted was double of 400 instead of 200, I raised it back with them. They tried convincing me that this offer allows only one drink either Java coffee or hot chocolate. Whereas nothing of this was mentioned in the flyer, flyer clearly said âJava coffee and Hot chocolate in only 200rsâ. I am very well aware there is always hidden comm. in such things, but it felt really bad on company like Starbucks doing it as Starbucks has always been my go to place. They tried their best to convince that flyer meant either Java coffee or chocolate. Given to my convincing power I could retaliate and get my money back.
