Seoul Street — Restaurant in Tiruchirappalli

Finally we have the only authentic korean restaurant in Trichy❤️ The Chef has learnt the cuisine from a Korean chef directly and she is really passionate about it. It definitely shows in the food as well. I appreciate the effort she puts in maintaining the authentic flavour rather than Indianising the dishes. We had spicy tteobokki (which we really loved), kimchi chicken fried rice (very authentic, served hot, less oily, flavourful, filling enough for two people), dakgangjeong (really good), yangnyeom ( again good, but I prefer dakgangjeong) , hotteok ( ofcourse you can't beat a Korean dessert, unlike the usual sugar overloaded desserts we usually eat, it's the right amount of sweet),chilled yuja cha (my favourite) and chilled sujeonggwa. The waiting time after the order was hardly 15 mins. Oh and the cherry on top is, she gave us a free hot bungeoppang with a strawberry filling which we absolutely loved ❤️ The dining is a small one with 15 seat capacity and they have a limited parking for 2 cars and few bikes. I am pretty sure that given the authenticity of the food, the place will definitely have to expand it's business quite soon. Please dont try this resturant! For the amount which they charge you and for the taste they provide claiming its Korean, its totally out of the books ! Seriously was upset with the serving time on dining too , after you order they will take 45mins minimum for a dish due to very less labour on dining there and their response for delaying soo too would make you feel much uncomfortable ! Totally the taste , the rate and the overall dining experience is sure aint worth your money , but if you want to explore another new small cafe in Trichy and a different cuisine you can give it a shot and rate your experience and spot the taste difference if you have tried proper authentic korean...

One of the worst experience I have ever had , the food is sub par and the pan fried dumplings were burnt , fried chicken karage had more batter then chicken , gimbamp was served with a watered down soy sauce 🤢, even the ambience was not good , no friendly staff and not hospitable, there was no handwash in the restaurant ,even when we gave feedback to the chef she was not willing to listen she just kept repeating "this is what I learnt",I came here after watching an insta reel ,I would never repeat...
