Be there atleast by 1pm.. the place gets crowded after 1.30pm.. Coming to the food, amazing will be an understatement.. the meals is outstanding.. the curries served have distinct flavours.. The service of this place is unseen by me before.. I own a restaurant and they have set me a new benchmark for service.. they serve you the rice in small portions, only sufficient to have it for one curry.. they serve 6 different curries and each and every time, they serve rice.. The flavours are very balanced.. no flavours overpower anything else in all their curries.. The pepper chicken is slightly less in quantity for what they charge, maybe the sides is where they have better margins and that's completely reasonable, considering the overall experience at Sethuram Mess..

Edit 1: Visited the place for the second time.. The quality of curries was down a notch.. the service has come down quite a few notches down.. Disappointment is one word to describe this visit and the current service.. they have made a few changes like pricing up the menu and quite a few new faces in service.. maybe they shouldn't have compromised on their philosophy.. very...

This location has consistently met my expectations during my visits to Trichy. It offers a wow experience and is a must-try destination in Trichy.

We made sure to try everything on the menu, and the thokku gravy and mutton dishes were exceptional – the mutton was remarkably juicy and spicy. I highly recommend giving it a try. The Kolla urandai was also impressive, and the prawn thokku had just the right amount of spice. Combining hot rice with rasam and mutton chukka is also a highly recommended combination.

Additionally, they serve small onions with lunch, which aids digestion and overall well-being. A notable advantage is the complimentary moru moru kadalai burfi, which is both delicious and refreshing. However, it's worth noting that they do not accept card payments or GPay, which may be a concern for some patrons.

We have tried their unlimited meals with all gravies and kulambu moreover we have tried some prawns fry too that was ultimate

Fulfilled taste and rice chettinad flavoured masala were used in all Gravies, I love the flavour and I suggest you people to try all of their Gravies and kulambu
