Barbeque Nation- Marina Mall — Restaurant in Tiruporur

This is one of the worst barbecue nation restaurant franchisee ever .. situated in Marina Mall and on the IT highway it attracts good amount of corporate customers and the ambience is quite noteworthy .. Coming to the starters it was not cooked properly the coal kiosk that they place / to keep the steaks were not at all hot ..it took too much time for them to cater the starters and we had never felt such an shame to ask them again and again for certain delicacies which never arrived . Half of the desserts like Jamun were missing , cutleries were not even kept .. the mojito was so horrible .. notable thing that they do to hide their utter disgrace is to give an coloured drink as welcome drink ( free ) damn no one needs this ..full of saccharine .. this could stand out as other barbecue nations appears stopped this gesture .. Crispy corn was mashed it stuck in tooth of everyone and potato cheesy was so filthy it stuck in plate with the skin .. long story short totally not worth the price and highly risky stuff on platter for health .. desserts were okiesh .. for ambiance alone and to have an movie and complete an shopping in the mall you can give it an try but if your an foodie lover pls refrain … Disgrace ! Pathetic and utter foolishness on our part to chose this over other barbecues .. Went on a Sunday and understood it is a better option to reserve your seat in advance, since I had to wait for 45 mins due to the crowd. Starters - Chicken, Fish and Prawns they bring to the table as much as you ask for. Veg they had Paneer, Pineapple Fried potato, corn are also given once and again if you ask for Live counters had Veg and Non veg fried option , Chat ( paani poori, dahi poori, paapadi chat), Kulfi ( 6 flavour sticks with toppings), Ice creams, NonVeg : Hot & sour chicken soup, Veg with meat balls, Chicken Biryani, Egg Fried rice, Chicken Chettinad Curry, Mutton gravy, 2 more NV gravies. Veg: Creamy soup, Veg dum biriyani, 3 veg curries, white rice, rasam, curd rice, pickles, white Creamy pasta, hakka noodles. Naan and Roti counters are inside which you can ask to the one who is servicing your table Salad counter had 6 options I tried the russian salad which was good. Desserts: Hot gulab jamun, halwa, brownie cake, jelly bowl for kids, few more pastries which I couldn't try but my daughter liked all of them a lot. If you ask for something they try to fix it, in my case mutton gravy had only bones so they prepared a plate of mutton pieces and gave it to me, Dahi poori was not there, after i raised it to them they got me a plate. Santu was the person servicing my table and did a very good job 👍🏻

Starters: In the veg section, paneer and mushrooms were a bit of a letdown lacking in flavor and not very fresh. But the pineapple and broccoli were surprisingly good, and the fried corn was crispy and tasty as always. Non-veg starters were a mixed bag. The fish and prawns felt pretty bland not much seasoning or punch. Chicken was decent, but the mutton seekh kabab and fried chicken strips really stood out juicy, well marinated, and packed with flavor.

Main Course: Honestly, most of the curries felt quite bland. Even the chicken in the biryani lacked that expected flavor kick. The Chettinad chicken was alright, but not spicy enough to be memorable.The curd is actually very tasty and refreshing eat some of ot in between your courses it's very tasty. The Russian salad is very strange and we were a group of 12 neither one of us liked it.

Live Counters: Tried the live dosa the grounded chicken filling was tasty, but the dosa itself had a strange texture, not crispy or soft, just off. The honey chicken was nice for a bite sweet and sticky but one piece was more than enough. The pani puri and dahi puri were actually quite good refreshing and well-prepared.

Desserts & Ice Creams: Desserts and ice creams were great as always a solid way to end the meal.
