Stayed here for 3 days last year during October by taking half board. Also tried Meghavi wellness spa. Pros: Nice Location, very good swimming pool which is partially shaded. Breakfast buffet was very good. Nice place to play table tennis, hotel ambience is pleasing. Please try the spa here, slightly more expensive but very relaxing. View outside was amazing, all greenery and tall buildings right side of the building. Ac, outside carpet, Elevators sll good, no wsiting. Cons: Almost non-existent service. For tea accessories, room issues anything had to call 10 times and still wait for 30mins. Can't believe its Novotel. Service is like 1 star and hotel feels understaffed. On my third day it was too much and some operation manager came and apologised. He also packed some food for my baby which is a good gesture. However i was delayed by 1 hour in all this. From car you have to take the luggage to the entrance. No one there at entrance or car parking when I arrived. Rooms are quite small, doesn't feel like Novotel, more like Ibis Dinner Buffet was nothing home to write about, almost same and very boring. No place to sit during weekdays for buffet breakfast. Children play area is just for name sake. Not even a slide was there. Also video game wasn't working. The zoom mirror was broken and hanging, however they fixed it but didn't feel like a 4star experience. Smoking zone next to swimming pool is a disaster for families staying here. Should be removed. I couldn't enjoy the night view since smoke smell and my daughter was small. I asked for a higher floor, they gave me 3rd floor. Not a big complaint but still. Overall its more like 3 star hotel with 1 star room service...
Read moreI wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional experience my companions and I had during our recent stay at your hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly made us feel welcome.
I must extend a special thank you to the restaurant staff, Nidhi and Lolitha, whose impeccable service and attentiveness truly made our dining experiences memorable. Their dedication to ensuring our satisfaction did not go unnoticed, and they went above and beyond to cater to our needs.
However, the true highlight of our culinary experience was undoubtedly the culinary prowess displayed by Chef Taufeeq Alam and Kishore. Their boundaryless behavior and extraordinary talent in preparing Pasta and Pizza left us in awe. The flavors were exquisite, and each bite was a delight to the senses. We were truly impressed by their skill and passion for their craft.
Furthermore, I must commend Chef Vignesh for his graciousness and hospitality. His genuine interest in our dining experience and his constant attentiveness made us feel like valued guests throughout our stay.
While our overall experience was exceptional, there were a couple of minor disappointments. It would have been nice to have table tennis available in the lobby, as well as cue sticks in good condition in the snooker area. These small details, while not detracting significantly from our enjoyment, were noticeable.
Overall, our stay at Novotel Sipcot exceeded our expectations in every way, thanks to the dedication and professionalism of your staff. We will certainly be recommending your hotel to friends and family, and we look forward to returning...
Read moreDeeply disappointed with the restaurant food… We wanted to try Novotel since long time as its nearby to our place and I thought being a 5star hotel the restaurant also would be having good spread but i was naive to think that… To start with No options of salads -Very few options and the ones there were not worth trying too, Next starters- The worst paneer i ever had.. all the starters were coated with chilli powder no other taste other than chilli powder… Next was the main course, again paneer was rock hard indicating its freshness and i can beat someone with that paneer, Mushroom curry was so bland
Highlight of the visit was the paratha live counter where we asked for a paneer paratha but to my surprise or i should say shock they gave a papad sorts thing which is very hard and not properly cooked on both sides too and very hard unlike the original paratha… We convinced ourselves that we are in a southern state and tried that but the worse part is the dough is stale… its taste also changed, their audacity to use that kind of dough in a 5star restaurant… No main course only ghee rice, steamed rice and curd rice I literally had to fill myself with curd rice. Desserts are not that great too, though there is a lot of spread put up in desserts… nothing seems to be good
Pasta was not well cooked and so bland, only good thing was curdrice and rabdi we tried
Utterly utterly disappointed, Gave two stars for curd rice and the service person who were approachable...
