I rarely write reviews for someone. But this is one exception where i thought, efforts of genuine people should go noticed. I have gone to the extent of personal appreciation to the owner of the restaurant for his discipline and devotion to his clients.
For visitors: Ambience of hotel is pleasing, its a very quiet and composed place, right in the NE corner street of Raja gopuram. Serving staff were very decent and well mannered. You make your choices of orders and then cancel, still they will take it with a smile. Tranquility of the visit to the temple resonated while having food at the place. Food is delicious, aesthetically served hot, may it be breakfast, lunch or dinner, we liked every dish served there. Lunch is soothing, with no extra masalas, every ingredient in right proposition, very good vegetarian offering, soft on tummy. Price is reasonable, for the kind of quality that you see.
God bless you - Namma Ramakrishna. Try adding some fruit juices and ice creams to the menu. Namo...
Read moreHowever hungry you’re post visiting the temple! Don’t try indulge in the proper South Indian cuisine thinking every shop has good South Indian here! The answer is sadly no! So only Try ordering North Indian cuisine from this restaurant! I somehow didn’t like the way they boiled the rice and almost every side dish was extremely salty! I had a great experience with gobi manchurian and chapatti!! You can actually skip having juice here considering the cleanliness of the juice maker, witnessed something awful so am definitely not gonna recommend you to order any fresh drinks even though you’re super dehydrated post temple visit! Brownie points for the interiors and ambience! Also highly not recommended if you’re in a rush to eat and leave! They have very limited suppliers which is undoubtedly making the...
Read moreI’m a Tiru local and have eaten several times at this place. It’s probably one of the most under appreciated restaurants around the temple area.
The restaurant is located at walking distance from Tiruvannamalai Big Temple Rajagopuram. It has a great ambience, air-conditioning, with comfy seating. The washroom and toilet facilities are extremely clean which is a rarity in Tiru.
They serve South Indian food primarily and is at par with some of the best restaurants in Tiru like A2B and Ramakrishna. Service is very fast and staff are extremely cordial. It’s one of the rare restaurants that bring out sambar and chutneys in large containers, so we can help ourselves to as much as we wish.
So, if you’re around the temple area, looking for good wholesome South Indian food, just drop by here. You won’t be...
