Udupi hotel — Restaurant in Tiruvannamalai

As a Google Local Guide, I recently visited Udupi Hotel in Tiruvannamalai and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the hotel had the potential to provide a satisfactory dining experience, there were several areas that fell short, leaving much room for improvement.

I eagerly went inside to eat something here but ended up in bad....

When I entered that person in the billing section is already shouting at his employees.... This is the first time for me to this hotel so I enquired the same billing section uncle regarding available of food list.... He replied with his irritating Voice as "poi utkaarunga sir firstu"

I sat near by table and asked the supplier he said tiffen is available. So, I ordered him dhosa.... He went to give order but came back again and said no tiffen available....So I suggested him to bring tea then he said only coffee available, I even said okay and asked him sambar vadai he came back with thayir vadai and supplied.... I literally got anger but I don't want to show as the same time only he got scolded by nearest table because of he gave wrong bill.....So I said okay and verified him about coffee order he said "ji adhan sonane coffee tea edhume illanu", I'm unable to control it and asked him to come nearby and said politely "neenga apdi edhum sollala.... But paravaillla.... Poi bill konduvaanga...."

He comes with bill by billing for two thayir vadai's, Within the mean time he found the mistake by himself and goes to to the billing section uncle... He started to scold the supplier as vaada poda amd anonymous words.....I paid the bill and escaped from this udupi hotel.

I will not go here and I will not suggest my relatives and friends to not come here

Recently I went with my relatives to have lunch. That is not the food at all. Half boiled rice, tasteless sambar, useless kootu, poriyal. Overall rating could be utter waste. People come as crowd as this hotel is near to temple. Please inquire with local people to find out good hotel. Food at this hotel was good some years ago. I don't know what happened, it is worst now. May be they are not able to maintain the quality due to heavy crowd. Not only in Tiruvannamalai, in Rameswaram also I had same experience. Hotels nearby the temple doesn't bother about the taste and quality of the food. So, it is better to avoid taking food in the hotels which are nearby...
