"I recently had the opportunity to dine at Udupi Brindhavan in Tiruvannamalai during my temple visit, and I must say the food was a highlight of my stay. The South Indian dishes, particularly the dosas and idlis, were incredibly flavorful and had a home-cooked feel that I appreciated. The sambar was well-balanced, not too spicy but with just the right amount of kick.
However, while the food was delicious, the service was a bit slow, and the ambiance of the restaurant could use some improvement. The location is ideal as it is at a walk-able distance from the temple. But, it is in the middle of a small street that gets very busy during day. Hence, you may face some hassles in reaching the hotel if you are travelling by your car. I would recommend this if you have plans round-the-clock and just need a decent place to refresh when you reach the town and sleep...
