This is a great Landmark in Srirangam...Situated right opposite in a corner, this coffee shop offers only coffee...coffee...filter coffee and nothing but coffee....existing since.1990 as known to me and much earlier too, as given out by other customers...A visit to Srirangam is pilgrimage to see Lord Ranganatha....and a visit to Srirangam is incomplete without a coffee at Mursli's irrespective of the time of a day...One has to take an orderly queue to reach the counter itself...Continuous mugs of steaming coffee flow from the assembly line like makers....The entire area has a fine aroma of best coffee in Srirangam....only hint ...do not praise this coffee at home...else your life partner will take up the broom to punish you... If you are coming by a two wheeler, better to park nearby and approach on foot, since there is always a jam of bikes of customers here....by the time one manages to retrieve the bike, you will be tired enough to go for...

There is a 'bajji' guy adjacent who makes piping hot chilli, raw banana and other bajjis and they are the perfect evening snack to accompany the filter coffee. Our Trichy trips almost always begin with a refreshing coffee from Murali's and it gets us going...not to be missed...
