ARCHANAS ANNALAKSHMI RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Trichy Corporation Limits

Last week visited the hotel for breakfast. They treat well only to the persons who stay in their hotel upstairs to the restaurant. I did not stay in their hotel but went with my family for the breakfast. In the menu card supplied by the Restaurant Buffet breakfast was available and the amount was also mentioned. But we ordered for Buffet Breakfast, they told us that it is available only for the persons who stay in the hotel and they will not provide for the persons who didn't stay in the hotel. The restaurant authorities treat the persons who were not staying in their hotel as third class citizens. In fact they don't want the people who don't stay in their hotel to come. The very first question they ask when you occupy a seat in their restaurant is "whether you stay in our hotel". I didn't ask a big breakfast I just asked for Idli, that too in the morning. They are not prepared to give. For anything they serve they are going to charge hefty only. But than also they are not prepared to serve anything for the persons who don't stay in their hotel. In fact they treat the person's who don't stay in their hotel as beggars. So humble advise to the persons who want to visit this restaurant when you don't stay in their hotel, think twice before going to this hotel and be prepared since you may be treated as a third class citizens. This is the worst restaurant I have seen...

We were there around 2.30pm afternoon After parking the car After big struggle in hotel car parking, security said nothing is available...I asked why? Is it your restaurant got closed?.He replied it is the instructions from restaurant. Since I along with entire family including two of grand children were there & we didn't have any nearby hotel I went inside the hotel & saw many customers were eating few sitting in front of uncleaned tables. After asking restaurant manager, we also waited in one such table, after 20 minutes one waiter came& said no food is available Then I politely explained our situation mainly we didn't have any choice nearby & childrens are with us, waiter accepted to serve Sambar rice & Chappati Some how we had our lunch just to fill our hungry stomach. My strong suggestions to guests who goes with family, please avoid this hotel because it was such a pathetic worst experience Main issue is they don't have enough manpower & the way they treat...

We were a group of 7 with specific dietary requirements - no onion, garlic, green/red chilli , chilli powder, capsicum etc. I explained my requirements to the manager Praveen over the phone a day earlier and asked if he could accommodate our dietary needs. He was so welcoming and agreed with alacrity. I spoke with him on the day of the lunch and explained the specific dishes I required - some of it was off menu but he cheerfully accommodated our group needs and served us customized lunch piping hot timed for our arrival. The quality of the food, as with the quality of service was excellent. It was so good that we ordered from here for dinner as well - again a very customized requirement which he parceled for us and provided with a smile. Oh and one more thing, one of the items I had requested (a special Brinjal dish) could not be made for lunch, but Praveen remembered my ask and made it available for dinner.
