Badami's sweets and Restaurant — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

I am quite surprised and disappointed by the pricing and practices at Badami Restaurant. Their prices are now at par to, and in some cases even higher than Haldiram’s, yet the quality and quantity are far below expectations.

A few days ago, I had ordered Dahi Bhalla Chaat, which was supposed to include potato, chickpeas, and ginger-beetroot challa, served in separate containers. However, what I received was just Bhallas in curd with red and green chutneys—everything mixed together and missing key components. I reported the issue, and while the store manager apologized and promised it wouldn't happen again, the experience repeated.

Today, I placed another order for samosa and dhokla. To my shock:

A single samosa was charged ₹29, which clearly isn't worth more than ₹10 considering its size and quality.

The dhokla box was mostly filled with water. On checking, the total weight of the package was 600g including a heavy plastic box, and actual when weighted separatelt dhokla was barely 400g. That means I was charged ₹150 for roughly 400g of dhokla—translating to a ₹300/kg price, out of which water alone accounted for around ₹60 worth. Obviously, the water isn't edible or usable.

This is not just overpricing, it’s borderline unethical. Selling water at the price of dhokla and cutting corners on food portions is unacceptable for any restaurant that wants to maintain goodwill.

It is imortant tbat the management look into this seriously. If such practices continue, you are bound to lose customer trust...

Located right in front of the Gate no. 2 of Logix Blossom County. This is a complete veg restaurant and has options for dine in and take away. The restaurant is on the 1st floor which is accessible through lift or stairs.

The place is good for birthday parties and any family occasions and has a different menu and rates.

We went there twice one I'd for the family dinner and the other is for trying the breakfast options as they have some special offers till 11am everyday on breakfast but for that you have to visit the restaurant the offer is not valid for online order.

The dinner was good we ordered Chinese and Indian the portion of the meal was good and the food was fresh and the staff was cooperative and quick and accommodated our request for customising few dishes.

However we are not satisfied with the breakfast we ordered chole kulcha and they have given us the same chole as we have got for chole bhature some this has mixed up the dish taste and totally killed the taste of chole kulcha.

Lassi was good but was not that tasty as we expected however chole bhature is nice and I recommend you should atleast once.

The place is neat and clean also follow hygiene. The ambience is good color theme is nice and has vibe however few things on the menu...

23/05/2023 After a couple of days, the manager (Anurag) finally called up to know the issue. Glad that he listened to the experience, apologized and then sent the remaining order with complimentary condiments. Happy, someone cared to listen and care about the customer feedback. Revising my rating again.

21/05/2023 Off late with the gain in popularity in the regions around, the customer service, cheating in order is also being faced. I recently placed an order (order number 34926922), but did not receive the entire order and was charged fully. When i picked up the order, no one at the store stated it was an incomplete order and refunded the amount. Later, at home, when I realized amd complained they suggested to pick up the remaining order again. When I insisted, they should deliver, the store manager promised the remaining order to be sent in the evening, then promised to deliver the next day, and hasn't turned up.

Complete dishonesty after developing a sound reputation.
