Barbeque Nation - Varanasi — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

I went there for dinner at 10.45 pm on my birthday late night and my birthday was ruined and extremely bad experience. My booking was made through eazy dinner app for 10 pm slot but due to traffic i reached the place 5 minutes late at 10.05 pm and the person at the front reception gave me the bad news that my reservation has been cancelled without contacting me once by them and i came to know that you cannot modify your booking time through eazy dinner app since barbque nation does not offers that option i spoke to the customer care of eazydiner and they told me to make a fresh booking from a different account. I finally wasted my 30 precious mins on my birthday just to get a table booking there through eazy dinner. I finally made the booking under different name through another account by eazy dinner app just to get a table there. It was 10.35 pm when we got a table and we were served starters for next 10 mins nonstop by them with fast service howver there was no onion, capsicum in any of the veg starters which were offered to us which was very surprising that bbq nation company is so poor that they cannot provide onion and capsicum after charging 1000 per person on a weekend night to their customers. Only corn and pineapple starter were ok in taste which we asked to repeat twice rest all the items were pretty average quality. We were provided a bisleri water bottle to drink however when we needed the water bottle again it took at least 10 mins and reminder to the staff 5 times for getting a new bottle which was pretty poor hospitality by them because the staff strength was less as compared to guests in the night which is again extremely poor management by them. When we went for the dinner at 11 pm all the items were over and after requesting thrice and waiting for 10 mins the items were refilled. Even to get butter roti to eat we waited 10 mins. This was such disgusting and ridiculous service. Malpua and halwa in sweets were of extremely poor quality. Each and every feedback mentioned above has been shared with the chef, manager and the staff there. They offered us a complimentary lime soda which had no lime only soda and water it is better to not offer such complimentary drink which is so poor in taste. The chef brought us complimentary pudding to taste which was good. The golagappa was also not fresh and stale and when we complained to the chef he brought fresh golagappa again which was ok next time. The management needs to look very seriously in the quality of food products offered there which is preety bad and work on extremely sloopy and slow service by the staff there if they want to stay in business and not loose customers. Overall very bad experience on my birthday...

I visited yesterday with my family of 4 people We ordered 2 veg+ 2 non veg as 2 of are old aged people They would not have much non veg so they can taste definitely from other 2 plate.but the restaurant may b he was managing everything was lil rude on this matter it could be very politely. Secondly, they started serving very harshly and fast we ask them to not rush as we are here with 2 old age person so will eat slowly and by relax mood definitely. Thirdly, as we said for Lil polite service than they avoided to serve next bunch of starter we didn't ask & started main course. Fourth, we were expected my husband bdy celebration there but when we saw their style to celebrating the someone bdy with loud dhapli and jhalar omg 😳 we shocked and thought to skip it .so badly a staff came with dhapli and max 7-8 times he make the worst sound and given bad looking brown cake . Fivth, even we have informed about one of our bdy to celebrate to the managing or manager at the time of feedback asking on table but they forget to celebrate our bdy and also didn't force after seeing the style of their celebration. Sixth, they were celebrating festival week with handi biryani ,let me tell u the variety of all biryani rice was same and the main topping was changed only like egg added, chicken, mutton in different hmari with same rice aroma and taste.all was tasting same. Seventh, the spoken person from the side restaurant may b he was manager again who was asking the feedback with a chef . should be Lil polite in his gesture body language voice tone .

Eight, In sweet corner the variety of sweet should be more and changed as there were maximum pastry or brownie added in all . Varanasi is known good in their sweet so it should be added like that atleast.

At the end of this feedback i want to add that i m from Delhi and hometown varanasi.i used to go barbeque nation at Connaught place and noida itself. They are very pleased to and soft spoken language should be any of but with a soft tone .

I would like to request the owner to send the staff for training in Delhi CP so that they can understand the management of lots of customers and the celebration of bdy too

Otherwise everything was good no doubt in food taste it was good can't say excellent I am sorry I am a reviewer of food /places on Google so I will be genuine here.

I have visited Barbeque Nation several times and have found that with the time the quality of food and services are degrading. I was very disappointed when I visited BBQ yesterday with my friends for birthday celebration. The food taste was not upto the mark let it be Chicken/fish/prawns or from veg Paneer/veg kebab/pineapple, what I can appreciate was mutton seekh kebab and crispy corns this was about the starters. Now we tried Noodles and hot and sour soup, I have never tasted such a bad soup ever and even after reminders there was no one who turned up with another soup. Now, we already were very disappointed with the Barbeque items which happens to be the signature items. We tired main course and that was not average in taste it was very had at taste out of 5 member no one ate the main course only 2 people tried and rest just had one-one spoon of Chicken dum Biryani which had boiled chicken pieces in it. Keema was average in taste so we wanted to have it with Indian breads for which we had to wait for more than 20 min. this gesture left all of us in anger and thats how we skipped with main course too. Now comes the desert, only gulab jamun was average in taste rest everything was very bad. Choclate brownie was which should be served hot was at room temperature, only strawberry flavoured ice-cream was available for that too we had to wait for very long. Kulfi was not provided even after many reminders, we were told that kulfi is out of stock it will take time.......this was the same scenario when I have visited BBQ last time. At last we were served with Pan Kulfi which didn't had toppings and when I asked for it, excuse was due to Covid-19. Now I wanted to ask the authority concerned about the the excuse, when the resturant is running with full capacity and not with 50% sitting and the charges are 700+ gst, why the services are not up to the mark. Being sorry will not at all fill up the satisfaction we expect from the BBQ nation because we come to Barbeque for good food, not to hear sorry from the staff.
