Berco's - If You Love Chinese — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Went here on a Sunday afternoon for a casual lunch out.

It is situated inside Omaxe Mall where you have other restaurants as well. Restro is not not big on terms of sitting but have decent cozy interiors.

We started with Typical Honey Chilli potato & fruit beer. Both were good ( potatoes were crispy ), fruit beer wasn’t too sweet so thumbs up.

We saw danglers for “Bao Festival”, on checking we were told that festival was over so we were little disappointed ( could have updated the danglers)

We then ordered Chicken Singapore Wok. Unfortunately it was too salty, on sharing this with the server , they promptly offered a replacement. We replaced it with Lemon n Coriander fish which was “Fantastic”.

Our final dish was “ Mixed Meat Noodles” . Unfortunately this dish also contains “Eggs” which really overpowered the meat flavours and gave the feeling of eating “Local stall’s Egg noodles”. Since we already asked for one exchange, we decided to continue eating flavourless noodles. We shared our feedback with the server that Mixed meat noodles should not have eggs in it:

Our good experience ended with tasteless noodles.

Overall service was good .

Request to management- Please do a proper taste test before bringing anything new in the menu . My wife will not be eating noodles ...

This is probably the worst Berco’s branch ever. Seems like it’s a poorly run franchise and not a branch manager by the original owners. I have been a loyal Berco’s customer for decades. Their quality in central and south delhi as well as Noida sector 12 is par excellence. However this particular branch serves really poor quality food and the cook probably does not even know how to cook Asian dishes. Just ordered Pad Thai which was pathetic just boiled noodles with veges, no peanuts, no Thai sauce. Over salty chicken sweet corn soup. I wonder how this branch is still functional probably serving those who have not tasted original bercos food ever!!!! Their American Chopsuey is also extremely poorly made now and not of the original taste as was and I had raised this concern last week personally with their manager Mr. Kuldeep. I wonder if you guys conduct any quality checks??? I’m now also concerned if their products are hygienic and not poorly sourced as they’re dishes now. You’ve lost a loyal customer and our entire circle of family and friends who will now never consider ordering food from Berco’s over...

Barcos is my favorite place but I am giving one star due to one lady. I am talking about Omaxe mall, cannaught place barcos. Today I visited and I reserved a table through dine out. DINE OUT app gives us benefit on giving discounts and offers on bill but I was not sure how to use it. I asked for help to that lady and firstly she said she does not know how to use this then I asked him if she can arrange someone for help. Finally she came for help and I asked her few questions related to dine out payment. She made a sarcastic face and looked at a guy who was sitting in another table. She made such a face looking at the guy example she gave a sarcastic smile to guy just to show that I am irritating her through my questions. This is what I felt

Reason she looked at the guy because that guy also made payment through dine out easily and did not ask any questions but I did.

I really felt embarrassing
