Tucked away on the second floor of Plassio Mall in Lucknow, Jamie's Pizzeria offers a visit that presents a mix of hits and misses. The high noise level made it challenging to hold a conversation, which detracted from what should have been a relaxing dining experience. Service staff was condescending and did not know their product. The server called Neapolitan pizza as "Nepal pizza" lolz.

They used good ingredients and the pizza was fine, but a little under-cooked for my preference. The chef did not understand the difference between a charred exterior on a neapolitan pizza vs a crispy well done pizza. I prefer the former, but the chef only understood the latter.

It's a shame they use their commercial oven only till 375C for pizza baking. Neapolitan pizzas made at higher temperatures are awesome!! and the world does it that way - a quick blast of heat and the pizza puffs up with some charred spots on it.

The pizza this restaurant served was more like a pita bread than a neapolitan pizza. Good ingredients are easy to source if you have the money, but a skilled team to put a pizza together is yet to happen at this restaurant.

After getting burnt in the scorching heat of Lucknow, and only a few hours to spare before the flight, we decided to head to the Phoenix Palassio mall in Lucknow. Jamie's Pizzeria is located inside the mall and was empty around 5PM when we decided to indulge in some good food after being exhausted throughout the day.

The pizzeria didn't disappoint us at all. We had ordered a fiery fries, a veg pasta (Red rocket) with red sauce and Chicken pram which I requested in white sauce instead of red. The chef was kind enough to obliged and the dish turned out to be amazing. We had also ordered Lemony ginger beer and homemade Iced tea. Both the beverages were good.
