Unfortunate experience inspite of spending Rs 34000, including alacarte beverages, for 22 guests. They were booked with request of easy ingress and egress through tables. Two different tables were provided parallely and not contiguous to each other. While the staff tries their best, it needs to be understood that reducing buffet rates to celebrate the anniversary will lead to increase in the footfall which needs better preparation to handle the increased requirements. The AC temperature, live music loudness and food spread variety/numbers & taste are all subjective but capital expenditure on infrastructure as well as learning & development needs investment. The area is less to accomodate increased guests especially on weekends. The blinds are not opened supposedly due to some issue of being stuck in top open position leading to closing issues later. The ice cream freezer lid doesnt hold up...probably broken/loose...due to incresed footfall, 01 scoop for 08 ice cream tubs seems less. The staff is in haste to clear cutlery and crockery even when plates are open and tables havent been vacated...generally without asking the guests when they have gone for a refill. Please purchase more. Also, train staff better as well as increase the number of staff if area cant be increased when footfall increases. Extremely unsatisfactory and poor experience unlike earlier times. Marriot seems to be degrading and will most probrably not figure on the...

I recently visited L14 at Renaissance Lucknow Hotel, Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar with a friend for a buffet dinner. We had made a table reservation in advance, yet when we arrived, the staff had no record of it. Worse, they were unaware that we had booked for the buffet, as the restaurant seemed to be running on a normal according to the menu system.
When the buffet was finally arranged, it turned out to be highly disappointing. The starters had only two or three items, and the main course was extremely limited—even basic breads had to be ordered separately. The dessert section was no better, offering just one or two options. Additionally, most of the food options were non-vegetarian, making it difficult for vegetarians to find suitable dishes.
To make things worse, they charged ₹1400 per person, which felt completely unjustified given the poor variety and service. In comparison, places like Barbeque Nation, Pirates of Grill, and Absolute Barbecue provide a far better experience at 30-40% lower prices, with a wider selection of starters, main course dishes, and desserts.
The service was unprofessional, and overall, it was a terrible experience. I would not recommend this place for a buffet, especially considering the high price and...

Reserved and arrived for Anniversary Dinner [Ala Carte] with family [ 5 Adults & 3 Kids].
Once I arrived, I was told of a direct 25 percent discount on buffet due to Republic Day Week which i took. TBH, The Resturant looked short staffed and an Al-Carte would have been a terrible experience.
Told them i have a Silver Bonvoy Marriott membership but I was informed surprisingly by staff that Renaissance Lucknow and its dining is not a part of availing any points or benefits through Bonvoy Marriott.
Requested them to please arrange a very small cake at the end of dinner to celebrate anniversary as a symbloic gesture but that probably due to low staff could not be arranged or met.
Food was pretty mediocre and very average in taste and certainly did not justify the money charged.
Staff were humble and courteous but visibly short staffed to cater to guest probably due to an on going function in the hotel or room dining request.
So service for a passable food was non existent.
Left with a bad taste and experience of never returning again to Renaissance Lucknow despite being Marriott Silver Member.
AVOID TO SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND PRECIOUS...
