I used to hear a lot about Lalla Biryani being one of most authentic and unique Lucknawi Biryani. Finally, had a chance to try it out for the first time. A shop in the centre of the Old Lucknow - Chowk, thin roads choked with traffic and the time in the Clock tower showed 4 pm. You could determine from way behind that the shop crowded by people would be the shop I was looking for. The Biryani was just coming in fresh from the gas and as soon as the lid was opened, the shop was filed with the aroma of biryani. The aroma itself was making the mouth watery. Had to stand in the line for 45 min to get a hang on to my parcel. The Mutton Biryani costed 160/- for half a plate and amount doubled for full plate. Talking about the taste, like the aroma, the biryani tasted amazing with such tender meat pieces, brilliantly cooked. Felt like it was worth the wait. The area of improvement would be infrastructure wise mainly the sitting/dining area. The shop sometimes becomes too over crowded and you will have to wait alot in order to get your order. I'll suggest not to visit the place during weekends if you don't want your time to be wasted and enjoy the taste...

So after seeing all videos and asking some locals I decide to try their Famous Biryani on my next Lucknow trip. Yesterday I got the chance to get there the shop is located just next to Chaupatiya Chauraha Chowk area in Old Lucknow. For me as a first timer the location was a little bit difficult to find but when I smell the aroma of Biryani i forget about location and just lost in the Aroma.
