Worst McDonald's in entire India. It's not a surprise that the service level and staff behaviour is awful considering this multinational restaurant is located in an uncivilized village type area with uneducated goons and thugs all around ready to con you. This McDonald's does have all the advanced options to show off but actually nothing works! The card payment at the self-ordering kiosk does not accept any card at all because they did a tie up with a bankrupt organisation PayTM. There is no one at the newly built upper section to take your order and to serve it. If you spot any staff over there, he will happily say that he is going to deliver it to your seat but actually he won't do anything. The staff won't even help you with placing the order using the ordering machine. Once you manage to order, the order becomes cold and soggy lying at the counter but the staff won't give it to you upstairs. As usual in most of Allahabad, now so called Prayagraj by the BJP, no card payment works at the self-ordering machine. The upper section always shows closed with a board placed at the stairs even when there is no space downstairs. The staff won't bother about removing the board to allow people to take seats upstairs. If you ordered an ice cream or soft serve along with your food, the staff at the counter won't give that to you and while collecting the order, they will say that go outside the restaurant to the ice cream kiosk and stand in a long queue to collect it. Your food items will get cold and soggy but the staff is not bothered about it and won't deliver your soft serves, ice creams. You have to stand in a queue and waste your time again to collect it. It does look like a decent McDonald's after the renovation work but it's a shame for a company like McDonald's to not have the same food and service standards, and digital payments availability like any other city. I haven't come across any such terrible McDonald's anywhere. Shame on McDonald's for operating such a terrible restaurant and not taking any action on the staff. Today is 10th June 2025, i went to this McDonald's outlet, and ordered 1+1 chicken puff from the main counter, everything went ok till there, after that i was patiently waiting on the receiving side of the counter, i waited for almost 10 mins then i told the male worker to pls check if my order is being processed or not, he said "time lagega", after that i waited for like 20 mins cause everybody else was also waiting and i didn't wanted to feel embarrassed by asking again and again, but after that when i asked again, he ignored me fully, then over the 20 minutes more i asked and him several times and he behaved very bad, i request to take proper action against his rustic and cheap behaviour, after that one lady worker that was preparing the orders inside noticed the chaos and came and took my bill and went inside, and came back and told me that they if i want veg puff instead of chicken puff, that was my limit to hold my patience, i told them to cancel my order and then that male worker spoke "refund ka counter udhar hai" like what ? like he owns the cafe or something, then i went and cancelled my order and took the refund and left. I just wanted to say that what that male worker thinks he is ? I request McDonald's to take proper action towards these bad employees thak single handedly pull down the brand reputation to the drain, also if you don't have ingredients to make some order, just make the person taking orders check and tell that "sir that particular item is currently unavailable" it will save time and unnecessary interaction with you bad staff members. i am giving one star of review because zero option was not there, also you all upgraded the interior of the cafe, but missed the key part that is to hire a well behaved staff, that assist the customer not ignore...
