Excellent ambiance and food is what we go to PNC for. Everytime we visit PNC, we find ourselves in a very relaxing atmos, surrounded by plants, fishes in aquarium, and other small pets; giving us a feel of being closer to nature where we have a lavishly cooked and deliciously spread food made to our order and liking. The menu is vast and every little detail has been taken care by Nitin to perfection. My folks are vegetarian and I am a hardcore non-vegetarian, and at this place we get the perfect blend of all cuisines of food to cater to my parents, us youngsters and our kids. This is probably one of the best that Lucknow has to offer. We went quite late beyond the entry hours, still the cheerful staff allowed us inside. We first ordered a non-vegetarian platter. It had it's share of tikkas and kebabs. It was well prepared. The dish that stole my heart was coming next : Chicken Handi. Let me first describe the dish to you. The chicken is marinated in a tandoor alongwith an unpeeled garlic pod. The garlic and chicken is then cooked in an earthen pot over a slow fire. When it is served, the chicken is soft and juicy with strong spicy tastes, and the garlic is still in it's complete form. One has to SUCK the 'melt in mouth' garlic alongwith a bite of the chicken to relish the most awesome taste ever. People, do try this dish here. You'll come back asking for more.
