Pind Balluchi is considered as a well known restaurant brand all over India for authentic North Indian food majorly influenced from Punjab. I recently visited the newly opened Pind Balluchi restaurant in Varanasi and the whole experience was quite satisfactory. .
🍁 FOOD ---- The staff has served us a lot of veg and non-veg items which I relished upto a larger extent. Kurkure Mushrooms, Dahi ke Kebab, Paneer Tikka Shashlik were there in veg starters. Lehsuni Tangdi Kebab, Achari Chicken Tikka, Gilafi Chicken Seekh, Kalmi Kebabs were served in non-veg starters. I had Virgin Colada mocktail as well. The main course comprised of Butter Garlic Naan, Tandoori Roti, Jeera Rice, Pind Makhani, Pind Chole, Chicken Biryani, Mutton curry, Chicken curry and Mix Veg. Gulab jamun, Kheer and Kulfi were served at the last. All the non-veg starters were up to the mark, they were properly roasted, tender, spices were uniformly added and looked aesthetic. The Gilafi Chicken Seekh could have been more soft and delicate. Kurkure Mushrooms were cheesy, Paneer Tikka Shashlik was delicious but Dahi Kebab need to be improved. The starters overshadowed the main course as I only loved the Pind Makhani and Chicken Biryani, all other items tasted very ordinary. Garlic Butter Naan tasted more like a Garlic Butter Tandoori Roti as it was very thin and crisp. Gulab jamun just got melted in mouth but the rice was not properly cooked in Kheer. Mango flavoured Kulfi can be the best summer refresher at anytime. .
🍁 AMBIENCE ---- The restaurant has a fusion of rural atmosphere with an urban touch. There is enough sitting space for the diners. The famous trending Punjabi songs were played which can make you enjoy your time with a joyful mood. .
🍁 SERVICE ---- The staff was gentle and took proper concern of every fine detailing. They were serving the dishes at right time on table which shown their professionalism and right sense of understanding towards their work. The chef also got involved for the feedback and reviews. The whole management team was...
Read moreI recently visited a restaurant and had the pleasure of tasting the best blue lagoon I have ever had in my life. Not only was the drink perfectly mixed, but the service I received was outstanding. I am thrilled to leave a review for this establishment, and more specifically, the bartender who created my drink, Chandrashekhar Sharma.
From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the staff and promptly seated. The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. After perusing the menu, I decided to try the blue lagoon, which was highly recommended by the waiter. When the drink arrived, I was immediately struck by the vibrant blue color, which was complemented by a slice of fresh lemon on top.
The taste of the blue lagoon was simply divine. It was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, with just the right amount of flavour to give it a kick. I was impressed by how well the flavors were balanced, and it was clear that Chandrashekhar had a deep understanding of mixology.
Not only was the drink exceptional, but the service I received was outstanding as well. Chandrashekhar was friendly, professional, and attentive to my needs throughout my visit. Read more"Exploring Village Flavors: A Mixed 3-Star Experience"
Step into this village-themed restaurant and you're immediately transported to a quaint ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. But does the food live up to the charm? Let's delve into the details.
With its village theme, the ambiance scores high marks. It's cozy, charming, and adds a unique touch to your dining experience. Perfect for those looking for a change of scenery from the usual urban hustle and bustle.
While the kebabs and starters shine bright, the rest of the menu falls short of expectations. The biryani and naans are lackluster, leaving much to be desired. It's a tale of highs and lows on the plate.
Here's where things take a nosedive. Waiting endlessly for a menu and then enduring what feels like an eternity for your food to arrive can sour even the most picturesque setting. The service needs a serious overhaul to match the charm of the ambiance.
In conclusion, while the ambiance promises a delightful journey to the village, the uneven quality of food and sluggish service bring it crashing back to reality. It's a shame because with a little more attention to detail, this place could truly shine. Three stars for the effort, but there's room for improvement.
Despite its flaws, this restaurant offers a unique setting and some standout dishes worth trying. However, be prepared for a rollercoaster ride of emotions—from delight to disappointment. Whether it's worth the visit ultimately depends on your tolerance for culinary inconsistencies and...
