I recently visited Punjab Grill located in Advent Sector 142, Noida, and it turned out to be a delightful culinary experience. As a food enthusiast, I had heard many positive reviews about this restaurant, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations.
Ambiance: Upon entering Punjab Grill, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's interior exuded elegance with its tasteful decor, soothing lighting, and comfortable seating. The overall ambiance set the perfect mood for a pleasant dining experience.
Service: The staff at Punjab Grill were courteous, friendly, and attentive. From the moment I stepped in, I was warmly welcomed by the host, and the servers were quick to attend to my needs throughout the meal. One incident that impressed me was when I accidentally knocked over my juice glass, and the staff reacted promptly to clean up the spill without making a fuss, showing genuine concern for my comfort.
Food: Now, let's talk about the highlight of the experience - the food! I ordered the Butter Chicken, Ras Malai, Garlic Naan, and Masala Papad. The Butter Chicken was nothing short of exceptional - tender pieces of succulent chicken cooked in a rich, creamy tomato gravy that left me craving for more. The flavors were well-balanced, and the dish had the perfect blend of spices.
The Garlic Naan was a delightful accompaniment to the Butter Chicken, beautifully soft with just the right amount of garlic flavor. It paired wonderfully with the curries, and I couldn't resist ordering an extra serving.
For dessert, the Ras Malai was an absolute treat! The soft, spongy cottage cheese dumplings soaked in sweetened milk were a perfect ending to the meal. It was not overly sweet, allowing the natural flavors to shine through, making it a truly satisfying sweet indulgence.
The Masala Papad was a delightful appetizer - crispy, tangy, and packed with flavor. It was a great way to kickstart the meal and tickle the taste buds before diving into the main course.
Overall Experience: My overall experience at Punjab Grill was outstanding. The combination of delectable food, inviting ambiance, and attentive service made it a memorable dining experience. The restaurant's commitment to maintaining the highest quality in both food and service truly shines through.
I highly recommend Punjab Grill to anyone in search of authentic and flavorsome North Indian cuisine. Whether you are a local resident or a visitor, the restaurant's delightful offerings will leave you wanting to come back for more. I cannot wait to return to Punjab Grill and explore more of their tantalizing menu offerings. Kudos to the entire team for creating such a wonderful dining...
Read moreEvery time I walk into Punjab Grill with an open mindset, I am ultimately disappointed when I walk out. I honestly believe the service of insolent toddlers with behavioural issues would be of a better quality than what I experienced here. We asked for regular water and the servers gracefully forgot about our request until we reminded them of it. They took away our plates and replaced them with objectively dirtier ones. When our drinks were served, it spilled outside the glass. This was, naturally, ignored. When our platter was served, the server struggled to split the portions between 3 people and ultimately gave up and set the platter down for us to settle on our own.
The prices are unreasonable for a brand that cannot back it up with the quality of its food. The lassi was not sweet and thinner than the consistency of what I would consider authentic lassi. The mango lassi was quite literally just regular lassi (but worse) along with mango syrup of a poor quality. If you don't have the ingredients to make a dish properly, I strongly suggest that you do not place it on your menu.
Additionally, they could not even print our bill. This lack of basic working technology from a restaurant renowned across the country is frankly appalling. We had to wait for half an hour to pay, because the bill was nowhere in sight.
For such a "premium" brand, you'd expect better. Overall, I...
Read moreWe visited today evening. The restaurant was literally empty at 7.45 pm. We ordered for a chicken tikka for starters and kadhai chicken plus garlic naan for main course. First problem, they served main course within 5 mins of the starters inspite of having pointed to serve after completion. The tikka, wasn't crispy rather soggy. The spices needed more roasting in tandoor/ oven. Second, the kadhai chicken was exact replica of chicken tikka. Not a drop of difference in taste, spices. I called the chef and told I told about the problem. He immediately recognised that the dish wasn't kadhai chicken and candidly said that he can get it changed. I didn't ask for change but they didn't charge me for it. But the evening was a gross disappointment. The service staff , even though they appear to be polite and welcoming but they are grossly callous in approach. Now, just imagine for a starter , a naan and a kadhai chicken, you'll end up paying Rs. 1500-1700, with this as a result?? These chain of restaurants, start ups etc, they definitely put in a lot in branding, interiors etc, but forget on the main thing which is food. Even though they claim to be fine dining restaurant, please remember, these aren't. A large menu, with no speciality. A Gross...
