Opening its door to its patrons, Ru-Bar-Ru has sprouted in the upcoming corporate area in sector 142, Noida. The moment we got to know about it, we decided to give this one a try. Welcomed by a huge opening and red lighted floor giving a feeling of walking on the red carpet, we felt truly mesmerized. The property is enormous with a gigantic bar in the centre, ample outdoor sitting and a balcone type seating on the inside. Showcasing a great range of spirits, the bartenders have great knowledge in curating mouthwatering cocktails and mocktails.
We started our culinary experience with Pav Bhaji, Crystal veg dumplings, Thai Basil chicken dimsum, Multiple mushroom bruschetta, Caesar salad, South-west chicken pizza and a Country club chicken burger. The presentation and cutlery used was top notch and definitely pleasing to the eye. The aroma of the food was enough to make us drool all over. We loved the way pav bhaji was served where bhaji was a spicy one with apt flavours and pav skewered on a big skewer. Both the dimsums were a delight to our taste buds and worth every penny. Bruschetta and salad were decent. The pizza was again a delight but it is advisable to devour it while it is hot else it loses its charm and finally the burger which had a grilled chicken patty and basic veggies and amazing concoction of sauces in the filling being served with fries and coleslaw.
After a break in between we moved on to the main course where we chose Dal Makhani, Kadhai paneer and Butter Chicken with assorted breads. Though being a hard core non-vegetarian, I loved their dal makhani too which had a great tempering and was topped with butter. The paneer chunks in kadhai paneer were home-made and were utterly squishy and had absorbed the spices well.
We ended our lunch with Chocolate brownies with vanilla ice cream which was again a delight and a great end to our meal.
We also tries out some of their cocktails namely Dilli 6, a gin based drink, Blue moon Indian Dry, a tequila based drink, Beetroot kanji, which was their home-made kanji served with a twist and mocktails namely Classic Ananas and Bubblegum pineapple Tepache. Mocktails were decent but the one cocktail that we enjoyed to the core was Dilli 6. Do try this one on your visit.
All in all we loved our experience. The staff is courteous and knows the menu well. The bartenders are well trained and curate amazing cocktails and mocktails with...
Read moreAbsolutely Disappointing Experience at Rubroo Advant – Not Recommended at All
Visited Rubroo Advant with high expectations, but the experience was nothing short of a disaster. We came as a large group, hoping for a good time, but what we got was cold food, confused staff, and complete mismanagement. Food Quality: The starters arrived lukewarm at best, and after that, it was all downhill. Cold, stale snacks were served without any refills. Despite a pre-decided menu and package, there was no freshness, no taste, and no care put into the food. Service & Staff Behaviour: The staff were clueless and borderline rude. Requests had to be repeated multiple times before anything moved. No courtesy, no coordination – they clearly were not trained to handle group bookings or customer service. Misleading Arrangements: We had chosen a fixed package, but they failed to deliver even the basics. No proper serving, no one to attend the tables, and when we raised issues, it felt like we were inconveniencing them by asking for what we paid for. Ambience & Cleanliness: The place might look decent in photos, but in reality, the hygiene was questionable, and the overall vibe was chaotic rather than enjoyable.
This was supposed to be a memorable evening for our group, but Rubroo Advant ensured it became one we’d rather forget. If you value your time, money, and dignity –...
Read moreWent there for a team lunch and our experience was bad from the moment we stepped in. First of all we wanted to avail the deal from dine out which we were denied and instead they offered us a counter deal with 1+1 on (non alcoholic) drinks and 20% discount on food items. Later on they informed us that they won't be able to offer the discount on Shakes or canned drinks and the offer is only on either alcoholic drinks or mocktails. We ordered Achari fish tikka (which was the only OKAY dish), chilly potato which was made sweet despite of asking them to make it spicy and not to add any honey, chicken 65, spring rolls (quantity was less and the oil smelled), dal makhani (very blend taste), steamed rice (another okay dish), butter garlic naan (rubbery and chewy) and kadhai paneer (blend taste). Offering atleast normal/tap water is the basic courtesy which they even didn't follow. Our total bill after the discount offered to us was 8880 and the food, the taste and the experience was not at all worth it.
Overall it was a pathetic experience that we had and won't recommend this...
