Shri Kanak Sarkar Rasoi, Ayodhya Ji — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

On a family trip to Ayodhya we were there on 23th July 2025. A special thali for ₹180 include items like gulab jamun, papad, paneer ki sabzi, boondi raita, salad. You will have the meal in an AC room and you will get this meal without garlic and onion but it will be tasty as it is offered as a bhog prasad to Kanak Bhawan Mandir, it is very near to Hanuman Garhi itself. My overall experience with ₹180 thali is better than average as the veggies are good in taste, Daal & chapati is ok; rice,sweet and boondi raita is below average. Machine made chapati's doesn't taste well . Requesting the manager to please avoid machine made roti's/chapati's and go with hand rolled rotis . Ambience is average and cleaning in the dining room is ok but outside the dining room means entrance gallery and stairs are very poor in cleaning also requesting them to enhance the...

As a part of my travel dairy related to visiting Devotional and historical places in the ayodhya and other places in uttar pradesh.

The taste of the food was ok but the staff was very less unable to meet or satisfy the less than 100 customers. The staff or owner both are not giving proper response.

There is a seating capacity that was limited to 200 members at a time. But those are very congested. The cost of the food was very economical (cheaper). It was a pure veg thali only available.

They accept only cash sometimes...

There are multiple restaurants with same name in same line.Terrible service! The staff was rude and inattentive.The hygiene standards at this place are appalling. The tables were dirty, the utensils were sticky, and there was a weird smell in the air. I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews, but I was sorely disappointed. The food was tasteless and bland. It seemed like it was reheated or microwaved rather than freshly prepared. I couldn't even finish my meal because it was so unappetising. Avoid this place...
