Visited the Gajraula outlet of Starbucks on the highway on our way back from Uttarakhand to Delhi. Firstly, on the way to Delhi, this property is on the left, hence one does not need to take a U turn to cross over. However, this Highway has many flyovers, and hence has service roads to get to the shops on the side. It is advisable to take the service road to reach the outlet and avoid inconvenience. Secondly, there are many eating places on this stretch of the road, so lots to choose from. The ambience of the Starbucks outlet was a pleasant surprise. It was just after 8am. The interiors were clean and well maintained, also because it's a new outlet. Nonetheless, a person was busy sanitizing 'high touch' places. Tables which had been sanitised were clearly marked out by a placard on the table. The employees at the cash and service counters were also neatly turned out, pleasant and working with gloves on and handling the food items with hygiene in mind. We ordered a few coffees (cold) and a chicken sandwich. The quality of the drinks and the food was very good. The service was quick, but this was to be expected as the morning rush was yet to pick up. The outlet also has a good collection of Starbucks accessories like mugs, flasks etc., some of which I did not find at a Delhi Starbucks outlet I visited just the next day. The Gajraula outlet has adequate parking available and convenient access for differently abled people. A good place of stop on a road trip, albeit with limited menu options, which is the norm for such eateries - unlike the variety available at the likes of Haldiram or...
Read moreWe stopped here while returning back to Delhi from a vacation in Uttarakhand. We earlier went to Haveli but that place looked disgusting and was overly crowded, so we went to Starbucks.
Location - This is situated on the left hand side of the highway if you are going towards Delhi. There are so many branded outlets all over in Gajraula and near to Starbucks too. There is plenty of parking place. There is also a small nursery next to Starbucks and Bhajan Dhaba is located behind Starbucks.
Menu and Food - As what you would expect from a Starbucks store - There were all hot and cold beverages, along with sandwiches and rolls. There were also mugs to buy, usually that you would expect in a Starbucks. Coffee was great as usual and the sandwiches were hit and miss. Overall it was good.
Ambience and Atmosphere - It was great as usual although it was crowded due to it being a sunday when we visited. It was still not extremely loud.
Conclusion - Overall a great place to visit and make a stop to relax during your trip. 1 star deducted only because some of the sandwiches were not as great as...
Read moreHey everyone! Do not Waste your MONEY. I recently visited this Starbucks's store, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. I ordered two coffees — one hot and one cold — and both were of such poor quality that they tasted like plain water. The flavor was completely off, and there was no richness or aroma that you’d expect from a Starbucks coffee.
I honestly can’t understand how people enjoy their drinks at this place. The overall quality was far below what starbucks promises as a global brand. I strongly feel that this particular store does not deserve to operate under the starbucks name. I plan to send a formal complaint to the starbucks head office in the United States and request them to review this franchise’s standards.
In my opinion, if this is the level of quality being maintained, Starbucks should reconsider giving franchises in India at all....
