THE SQUARE — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

review from a recent visit on 12 sep 2023 giving a two star as a bad service can jeopardize rest all other good things in a restaurant. of course the food is good, a bit overpriced but being Novotel, It still can be accepted. ambience of course is very serene. but the waiters, and the service is pathetic especially if you are planning for a feast of 12_14 people as I already had preinformed the staff about this atleast 6-7 hours before, still the management was not well prepared with it. even after reaching on time and briefing about the orders, the waiters were not able to note it properly. also their tones were not customer friendly. everytime they were missing order.

and the worst part was that instead of bringing a finger bowl the waiters were urging our guests to use the washrooms with an excuse that they don't have enough finger bowls. shame on you for that. I finally had to scold the manager to bring that

anyways I still tipped them to atleast learn the manners to handle clients. but paying 10 k of money is not worth if service is low standard at place like...

Visited the restaurant on 07.05.2022. Poor service. Placed the order. After some time attendant came and said that the one of the vegetables which I had ordered; one of the ingredient of that vegetable was not available so they were serving without that ingredient. After sometime one of the vegetable together with Naans were served and when I asked where was the another vegetable he replied that it was under preparation so it would be served after 15 minutes. I objected that all the items were to be provided simultaneously so he replied, sir this vegetable since under preparation and if the present vegetable was served after 15 minutes it would lose its taste, we consumed the veg and naans and the another vegetable was served after 15 minutes. What a mess? Horrible service. No value...

I have visited (The Square) twice and first of all I am glad Novotel opened here in Lucknow. Great property 👍🏻 talking about the food I was invited with fellow bloggers for Sunday Brunch, it was a great spread starting with so many starters in Veg & Non-Veg I liked veg galawati Kebabs & mutton galawati Kebabs, stuffed paneer tikka. Apart from starters they have live burger (you can customise your own burger) then Pani Batasha stall, then coming to main course there were many things raan Musallam which I liked it! Mezze Platter then they had variety of cheese which u can try. And in sweet there so many things! My fav was WildBerryShahiTukda, chocolate mousse, pears custard jaloussie and Gulaab jamun & etc. Overall had awesome experience and good service...
