Googled and also got recommendations from.griends about this place. Truly one of the good place to have Lucknowi Biryani. Ordered both chicken and mutton and it was good. The place is little crowded and since the shop is in the market you have to keep an eye not to miss it.This branch of Wahid Biryani is located near Aminabad Chowk. Not a pleasant looking one but lacking in looks and decor gets totally compensated by the taste of food. Ordered Tandoori chicken full and Mutton Biryani. One of the best biryani in Lucknow and the roasted chicken was well prepared. The authentic taste of lucknow at very reasonable price .From biryani to kebabs and tikkas all are wonderful but only one reason I didn’t give 5 star because of the availability of dishes ,most of the times dishes are not prepared on time and the staff is also confused with the owner.But Had gone to Tunday Kebabi and was told that Wahid's Biryani is better. So we came here, which is right next to Tunday. There was hardly any place to sit with only two or three tables. The Biryani wasn't that great either. We tried Tunday Biryani also afterwards, but that was average as well. The gravy was very insufficient and less. Otherwise we liked d dish. Wahid Biryani is a well known restaurant situated just next to the Tundey Kebabs in Aminabad Market old Nazirabad Road. This is a small restaurant with limited seating arrangement and a limited dishes menu. I've eaten their biryani both mutton and chicken earlier, but this time when I went there I tried their Boti Kebab. Believe me this dish the Chicken Boti kebab took my heart away, I was surprised that I hadn't tried this heavenly dish before. Boti kebabs being my all time favourite whenever I visit lucknow in future Wahid Biryani Aminabad becomes a must visit restaurant for me, Boti kebab will be my first priority after that their delicious Biryani.

The manager of this outlet is very humble He looks out personally for the customers needs and tries his best to serve the best. He told me that they are planning to open one outlet in Delhi. I'm eagerly waiting for their...

They have a new outlet next to Tunday in Aminabad. But there is an old outlet in a very narrow street in Aminabad and that's the one which serves only Chicken Biryani.

Chicken Biryani is not that famous in Lucknow since Mutton Biryani is favoured and is predominantly available. But if you crave decent Chicken Biryani then you can visit Wahid.

I will be honest about the quality. It has taken a hit over the past few years. The meat is not as good as it used to be and they tend to get you biryani from here and there at times, just to make a sale. Or else they'll ask for rice from another Biryani guy next to the Wahid Biryani outlet.
