Read moreAlthough discrimination was not on the menu, we had a taste of it at Chakra House Cafe. I recently visited this cafe with my wife and a friend. So this cafe gets a fair share of foreigners visiting them, which is nice, the music and the vibe are also nice. Everything was nice until the time when they started the service. We were the only Indians having food there that time. They took 45 minutes to serve the fries, which is understandable as all tables were occupied. While the waiters kept going to other tables frequently, we had to go to the counter every time to get their attention. After a while they brought the pasta, in a dish with one fork. Our table had no plates, no salt and pepper, nothing. When we asked the waiter to get more forks, he rudely said that they give only one fork with one dish. When we expressed that we were not happy with the service, the waiter again rudely replied, "Maine to pehle hi bola tha". Their multiple voluntary visits to each and every table except ours added insult to the injury. My suggestion to the owner: If you don't want Indians to visit you, just a put a board outside the gate that "Indians are...
