Gazebo By Rajpur Heights — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

Gazebo is an amazing restaurant, situated nearby old mussoorie road. Its one of a kind. Usually, restaurants mess up the orders when attending to a huge group of people; the waiting time is long, and dissatisfying service. This wasn't the case here. Being a group of 28 people, we were seated in the lawn with bonfires around us. We didn't have a booking, yet the staff was well coordinated and hospitable. The food was just so gooood. I had - 1- non-veg platter // 10 2- fresh lime // 8 3- lung fung soup // 7 4- butter chicken // 4 (it was too sweet) 5- rogan josh // 10 ( reminded me of the rogan josh served at the famous karim hotel, old delhi) 6- chicken changezi // 9 7- paneer butter masala // 10

I didn't really eat here but the cappuccino was the worst - it was CCD machine-made with sweetened chocolate powder or sauce smeared on top, the kind served at offices or cheaper restaurants. Moreover, the waiter was quite pushy and while I was completing some urgent work, kept asking me to sit inside. The main reason I say this is because he gave me water (without me having asked for it) and that too bottled (again, never asked for it). When I called him out on it, he asked me to shush and didn't charge me for the bottle. I just left it behind. The location is good however, the food items are not good. They charge 3 times the applicable price for the quantity that they serve. Moreover, most of the food items are not available in the menu list (eat what they have than what you wish). Working staff are less which causes delays. Monkeys will stop you enjoying outside lawns and sitting areas. Please maintain basic hygiene these days at least (did not find sanitization happening).
