The Mudcup Cafè, Kairwan Gaon, Rajpur — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

I did my research and after finding good reviews went in to check this cafe today in the evening for an evening breakfast. To my surprise it’s nowhere close to the reviews. The order served was wrong then what I gave on the notepad (they ask you to write order on paper). Even after repeating the order clearly to the lady at service. I had to pay extra as my sandwich was 229 and the crepe was 299. She served me egg-cheese crepe in place of egg-cheese sandwich. I was under the influence that they have done some experiment with the looks, so I had it without making a fuss. It was not worth 299 at all (trust me)! I’ve had better at other places at lesser prices. The hot chocolate served was not so HOT to be categorized as hot chocolate. The taste was good though, so 1 star for that. I ordered soup and asked the service lady if it’s TOO spicy or mild spicy. She told me it’s mild but as soon as I had first sip of it, I could feel my whole internal food pipe lining burning with chillies!🥵🥵 so I politely asked the lady to pack it so I could take it home and make some changes and make it edible for my sensitive food pipe that doesn’t tolerate chillies. Please give proper recipe details so the customer don’t choke or suffocate to something they can’t tolerate. The view from tha cafe is okeyish as it’s interrupted by the construction hanging in the middle. So view is not a complete package either. There was rain and clouds that made the mood lighter, so 1 star for that.

But I’m surely not going to this cafe...

Mudcup Dehradun, a cozy cafe situated at old Rajpur with wooden interior which I personally liked alot. . This place has alot to offer and starting with their interior the seating is very cozy and they can adjust a group of people too. They offer workstation too in a separate room with charging docks where you can work in peace. . Coming to drinks,I tried their expresso double shot and the coffee beans they use are from Landour and the beans have a very unique flavour as they don't give out bitterness but a roasted flavour and a note of sweetness at the end. . Now coming to food part, I tried stir fried vegetables in gravy with rice, their veggie delight pizza, Margherita pizza and waffles with fruit. Vegetables in gravy with rice was perfect as the heat from chilly and the fresh crunchy vegetables in the perfect gravy along with rice was imparting a very nice flavour. Their pizzas are one of the best thin crust pizzas in Dehradun. They had a very nice cheese pull and had a authentic Italian touch to them. Ended my meal with crunchy waffles dipped in maple syrup along with fresh fruits was a perfect end to the meal. . I really loved the hospitality and the staff is really professional and the best part is this place is not expensive and you can easily plan a date here without worrying about expense...
