I heard a lot about this restaurant on social media and also from my friends, finally I decided to try this restaurant so I visited this restaurant on Friday. This Is new authentic Indian restaurant newly opened in Dehradun and restaurant is led by famous chef Shri Harpal Singh Sokhi. I visited this place for dinner with my colleagues .The ambiance was so good . they serve complementary fryms. We ordered the chef special Paneer Margarita Tikka and Corn Soup and tomato beetroot sorba,The tikka was a hit and we all loved it,The soup was also nice very different from regular corn soup.we also ordered Palak patta chaat which was delicious.what I liked most was cheesy Ulta vada pav,.we also had dahi kabab which was below average, better taste in other restaurants .
In main course we ordered Kadhai Mushroom, paneer burji dal tadka ,Kathal ki biryani, missi roti ,Peeth Wali masala roti , adrak mirch roti ,Everything was delicious with right blend of spices and flavours. What I recommend is to add some more spices in kathal biryani,
About dessert,we ordered jalebi waffles and mirchi ka Halwa ,I heard a lot about mirchi ka halwa since day one of this restaurant ,but it was over hyped personally I don’t like the taste, also the jalebi waffles was below average,so in my case I don’t find good dessert.
Service& Hospitality- This was on top notch ,the service was really fast and good , Sonika Rawat - with polite behaviour she attended us and taken care of all the things we want really a good customer service by Sonika who has taken care all the things during our dinner. Head chef 👨🍳- Vineet Kumar Choudhary was so kind and polite and personally came to our table and asked about the taste and experience and this is what I liked ,this way this restaurant will definitely get more success.
Overall we loved the experience and service.
My suggestion-about-Mirch ka halwa-Please add some dry fruit and mava to add more taste or remove it from menu and also add some spices on kathal briyani.

I recently visited Karigari, a popular restaurant chain by Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, with my family of six, including four senior citizens. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by several issues.
Inaccessibility: The restaurant's two-floor layout lacks a lift, making it challenging for senior citizens and those with mobility issues to access the first floor, which is divided into three sections of stairs. One of our family members couldn't climb the stairs at all but Staff asked us to go on 1st Floor. Seating Arrangement: We were seated at a table on the extreme left side of the entry, which had inadequate cooling. We had to request the staff to address this issue but the Staff failed to do anything. Service: The service was slow and inattentive. Our waiter disappeared after taking the order for soup, and we had to remind another staff member to take our order. Additionally, paper napkins and tissue papers were not provided, we had to ask for these.
Given the growing number of Karigari outlets, it's surprising that the management hasn't prioritized essential amenities like lifts and efficient service. The experience felt like being in a luxury train compartment at the end of the train with limited access to facilities.
Overall, our experience at Karigari, Dehradun, was disappointing, and it seems that the restaurant's growth has outpaced its ability to maintain quality service...

The facade of the restaurant is inviting, the decor is tastefully done and seating is comfortable. Classic songs from the golden era of Bollywood are charming and melodic.
We will be regulars at this...
