The cafe is really nicely made with a lot of plants inside for you to continue your young connection with nature. However, the food & service did not meet the standards I expect in such a nicely built cafe/ food joint. We ordered 3 different dishes and the most important & safest options out of those, 2 portions of Hakka noodles turned out to be the worst food I had in any hill station. It was all dry (apparently too much boiled), with no taste and worst part, served entirely cold as if frozen noodles were shortly heated up in an OTG. I would have generally ignored putting up a review for a food joint in hills, understanding the lack of resources, but this one was marketed differently all across and even to serve readymade tea cakes, they needed at least 10-15 mins; for noodles, at least 30 mins... When you see time being taken for an easy dish in a well lit cafe, you do expect they are putting in the best of their energies and will serve the best. My short take on this one: Only try if you can't get food elsewhere in the vicinity. And try things like burger/ sandwich. That's what these guys...
Read moreCafe Experience Review The overall vibe of the café is great, with a cozy atmosphere and stunning views. However, we faced significant delays in food preparation, which affected our experience.
When we placed our second order, the pasta served was raw and completely inedible. It was disappointing, especially considering the café’s reputation.
The views are definitely the highlight of this place, and the food is tasty when prepared well. However, a lot of menu items were unavailable, and the wait time for food was very long. This is an area the café must improve on to maintain its reputation.
From what I’ve heard, this is a very old and well-known café with a good reputation. But if they continue to delay orders and serve undercooked food, their reputation may suffer over time.

Read moreThis is a trustworthy, comfortable restaurant in Kasar Devi. The ambience and the food is 9.5/10, service is excellent. The waiters are cheerful. Food is 9.5/10 because we as Delhiites tend to compare everything to Delhi. But this is the tastiest food we have consumed by far after last year when we ate at Cafe Sol on Simla mall. It really deserves a 5 star rating. We enjoyed 3 lunches here.. fast food, Indian and Chinese. And there was nothing to complain about. Highly recommend this place. They have rooms to stay as well, the restaurant is open for outsiders only from 11am to 6pm. So unfortunately we couldn’t have dinner there. So we enjoyed sitting back and relaxing and eating late lunches ! They have seating inside and outdoors. Outdoors with roof and terrace without roof. They have small gift shop from where I bought a macramé crossbody bag and some...
