Hi Olive Team, Thanks for the quickest response. I'm sure you're explaining things to the best of your knowledge(provided to you by your staff only). But If you allow me, would like to add what's missing:
When we've entered, 80-90% of the restaurant was empty(Obviously as you very well said because of unwanted Covid situations). Respecting the same, as per any other customer's ideal behavior, we were looking for a table for minimum occupancy, but hard luck. So, were approaching to the minimum available i.e., 4 seater table. Post which, one of your staff member has asked us to move to 6 seater(for unknown reasons). We thought, may be because restaurant is more or less empty, it is the generosity of the staff and thus providing customers best of their services. Keeping the fact aside that the food provided was comparatively expensive, there is no doubt that it was very tasty including pastas, breads, shakes, mojitos and few other things that we've ordered. Everything was going really great until the same staff member has came and asked to move to another table. We were shocked and couldn't understand what's happening. Complete restaurant was available, lots of other table were also free, then why only i was asked to leave the table??? Just because i immediately paid for my food and was completing some family conversation for next 3-5min(*Not 15 min). Very disheartening to know that when a bill is paid, the credibility of a customer is lost. Also, we couldn't see any 5-6 people waiting for a table, and even if there were any, then, Was that the only table they were expecting to sit on??Looking into the adequate infrastructure available, ideally this should not happen in anyway. I hope prioritization of customers(on any criteria) does not happen here, because if this is the case, then we seriously have to re-think on our decision to finalize your place for dining instead of many others(where we've had great experiences in the past). Now, coming to putting such comments, i hope you could be able to check that it is not my first review, nor do your restaurant is the first place i've ever visited. With over 200+ restaurants i've visited and experienced pan india and being L-6 Google Local Guide, i'm well aware about my credibility and fine sense of putting remarks at right place. Please don't misjudge, I never meant to insult/defame anybody in anyway. It was my opinion basis my experiences only and no offence, but i will surely work out on my expectations in case i have to visit any such place again. I can understand your well being towards your team but Olive should also value their customers equally As i could feel from your statement only "Seeing customers at the restaurant is a big thing these days" As per my understanding, It is not only the food that a restaurant provides but the entire EXPERIENCE which can brings wonders if we want to. I hope i'd be able to explain my concern well. Also, Thanks for the food and services. In-spite they are expensive, they're good. Wishing your place a great success and your customers a great...
Read moreMy first time was here that was awesome, really. There are few good restaurants near IIT Roorkee and Olive is one of them. Good food with good quality and good service. One of the best restaurants in ROORKEE, its little bit costly but If you compare price & quality of the food in simple word this restaurant is ultimate 👌👌 quality food is very good, delicious food, behavior of staff also nice & interior decorations also beautiful.

Read moreIt used to be a good family restaurant but is starting to loose its charm. Hospitality is between arrogance and forced. They often make mistakes but rarely appologize. Any dissatisfaction with food quality or quantity is met with arguementative explaination. With increase in rate a certain quality has to be maintained. If you find something tasty and think of ordering it the next time…taste would vary drastically. Its just your luck to find things up to mark. I don’t know how long this place will remain relevant. Now that it has a bar the food quality will deteriorate since the demand surpasses the supply. The staff feels like government employees... no fear of disappointing...
