At entrance: Place is on roof but don't be fooled, its not a roof-top restaurent. Entrance dosn't have decoration so not so apealing. Looks untidy too. Needs improvement.
Ambiance: Inside is jst ok. It's bit cramped up wen bigger tables are occupied. Music needs to improve for sure. Only 1 LED TV, should have more. Table-chair combination little off as chairs r either lityle low or table higher. It was not that comfortable for me. I m 5'5" still nit comfortable so for short hight or kids, its not appt.
Food & drinks- I had veg n nonveg starters both. Lamb starter was not so impressive. Fish starter was fine. Chk. Tandoori was good. Veg starter was bit hard. I'wd say starters not upto the mark as considering prices. As they are serving liquor, I wanted a mocktail, seriously plz don'y order any😏 as they don't have a clue. Vergin mojito, bloody merry, cranberry n many popular mocktailI, they have none. So i ordered pinaple base drink, wat they gave is shoking. A venila ice-cream shake kind of drink and that took them more than 30mins to prepare. Then I ordered a lemon drink, which they interpreted as "lemon soda" funny😂. Main course was Mutter paneer, gave me in a very small container, so portion size very bad for full plate. Tandoori roti was fine.
Service- Not that prompt. For every process, from order taking to serving n dilivary, it was too slow. Also I hv ti chase them for ordering or asking for somethng. For my simple mocktail, thy served me after everyone was served liquor and prepartion time was atleast 30 min, no clue why? No waiter was around for serving or getting dish from other part of long table. So not happy with this kind of service.
Overall my rating is 2.5 bt since there was no such option so gave 3, bt at these cost for fine dining standard should be raised. I'll again go sometime and review them again so as to give a better &...
Read moreIt's to the management team of Lemon Grass. I visited your place for the first time ever, after getting numerous positive reviews from my friends and colleagues. But unfortunately the experience which I had at your place is quite the opposite of what I kept on hearing from them.I ordered chicken drums of heaven and some crab hong kong or something like that for starters.I must say the drums were good no doubt. But for the crab and the other chicken stuff that I had ordered for the main course were studded with corn flower or whatever the thing you use for the coating. All were alike in terms of taste when we had the first bite of those servings.I was served a fried rice which had pieces of plastic packets in it.But when I informed the same to the attendant , he said sorry and left just like that. And I must say a few things about the gravy you served as well. The menu card looked promising with all the different options of sauces and everything, but the dishes which were served had the same gravy with only a little difference in terms of color and being sweet or salty. I imagine all these things were not intentional on your part but it had something to do with the overwhelming crowd that you have had there on that evening. But keeping everything in mind, its a sincere request to the management on my part to take the matter seriously into consideration, and rectify all of these shortcomings so that the reputation you have created for yourself throughout these years, could be maintained...
Read moreThis place has become a favourite to many people in the city of Durgapur. This place serves some really awesome continental food and I think they specialize in their noodles. Their Indonesian noodles is a classic dish which you absolutely cannot miss. It is not on their menu but they prepare it if asked for. It is halka noodles tossed in pesto sauce and has chicken, mushroom and eggs in the chicken noodles along with sautéed vegetables such as zucchini and bell peppers. Additionally the second favorite noodles from their kitchen is the Lemon Grass special noodles prepared with the lemon grass and is slightly spicy but totally takes your tongue on a roller coaster ride. Among starters, Chicken Lat me Kai is a good choice, along with crispy chicken in honey mustard sauce. Their tandoor is not bad and the kebabs are really nice. The soups are a bonus and taste awesome. My recommendation is the Tom Yum soup it had mushrooms and was spicy and savory. Their mocktails and cocktails such as Blue Lagoon, Green Apple cooler and Chocolate martini are definitely a must try. The ambience is great and the glass walls provide a...
