Theque — Restaurant in West Bengal

This place has two side by side restaurant, different by menu and vibes. One which is at corner has a 6 person sitting, menu items contains mostly north indian and chinese items. Visited during durga puja with family. Ordered Hakka noodles, Chicken Manchurian and Paneer tikka sizzlers. Food quantity was okay, Price was decent, staff seems to tend customers slowly there.

Recent visit was to the side one, which is downstairs. In ambience, it looks funky. Sitting arrangement is of 2-3-4 person. Available items were snacks and south indian. Ordered chicken pakoda, Pav bhaji, Veg steamed momos, Chicken grilled sandwich and milkshake. In milkshake we were offered two options i.e, cold coffee or butterscotch. It is written self service but the waitress was kind enough to bring the food to us. Heard about the place to be delightful but it was not even an ounce of it. Every ordered items were bland in taste. Worst was the cold coffee. Felt like drinking watered coffee milk. The only good item was the chicken grilled sandwich, it had the smokey flavour. I would say.. its value for money if you like to visit with family. Well I visited on weekend with family. The inner wall posters are great and typically clean but the surface area is bit messy. Though its near to junction mall and budget freindly place, its always full leaving no time for cleaning surface stuff regardless the busy waitors. I noticed what is zomato, swiggy orders are parceled faster than our order on table. Not so much tasty exept the non veg items. I think its not of the quality that Bonolota and other holds. Appreciate the warm welcome and on the other hand what I like is it serves beer 😀. I ordered the following; Butter naan Kadhai paneer Chicken lolipop. I only loved the taste of lolipops which are crunchy amd tasty. Kadhai paneer was the worst; its was like eating raw. Onions, paneer and capcicum were not cooked well. I have visited this restaurant 3-4 time .....

1. Ambience - Theme is like day today life of bangali people,, cricket,adda, eating etc soothing background song played proper seating arrangement is present with full air conditioned

2. Service - quick and polite service by workers clean plates 🍽️ given .

3. Food- I have tasted mutton biryani 2yrs back but was no good one ..seems like mutton curry put in a fried rice. I have also tasted sahi paneer, kadhai paneer which were good 👍 their tandoori roti have impressed me ...softest tandoori roti they have fried rice is also good 👍 I saw recently many are ordering biryani here ,may b the quality have improved now of biryani. they also have options for various drinks . -they also have good options for starters

4. price- it seems for me quite a pocket friendly restaurant ...... For two it takes around 500-600 minimum....

Overall this is a good family restaurant..... although I saw many couples now visiting this...
