Haldiram’s Restaurant, Durgapur — Restaurant in West Bengal

I am new to dgp and here in city center there are not much option for vegetarian I visited haldiram's restaurant many times. I will break it up my experience for others to better understand.

1. Ambience: Although they tried to create fancy setup there With ropes and bulb somehow I didn't found it to be comfortable.

The atmosphere looks airy due to glass view of road.

But may be due to rush and lots of people coming the seats don't look that clean to me. I have visited haldiram's restaurant in Noida which was top restaurant on the city. But may be my expectations were too high. (Seating is ok but the price we are willing to pay makes us to deserve more hygiene and cleanliness just an advice to team there)

2. Service: There is self service at restaurant even after that you get very late service from kitchen , I don't know if kitchen is not equipped to handle rush or there is shortage of manpower. But service I expected a little better.

3)Food: I tried there chole bhature 3 times( the bhature were without any oil may be that is the reason for late service) but chole quantity was not adequate for the price. Also I had much better chole bhature at 1/4 the price in delhi so it was a letdown at this price point. Paprdi chaat (was ok) and raaj kachori (overrated) I don't think I gonna try again.

Conclusion: The place is not that bad but my only complaint is we deserve a little better cleanliness, service at this price point.

Taste is not that great but not bad also. I am looking for better restaurant in city and my quest for food is not...

Extremely poor management. We ordered 250 boxed of laddoos for vishwakarma puja, we gave order 1 month prior to the delivery date, on the date of delivery we went for picking up the order at 10 am before that we informed them at 9 am that we will be coming in an hour. After reaching the shop we were told to wait for 1 hour, we waited and after 1 hour they said they needed more time, meanwhile our guests started coming at our office also we had puja responsibilities so we told them we will be coming back after 1 hour, when we went there to our surprise they told its still not ready and they dont know if they will be able to deliver the order, we got furious our guests had come we are in business for 40 years and it would have been a huge shame if we sent our guests empty handed. We raised our voice along with us there were 10-12 more customers who had the same issue, we started protesting and called the police, with their assistance we did manage to get our packets at around 3 pm while few of our guests did go away empty handed we later sent them the packets one by one.

Please think twice before placing any bulk order here they are just a retail store and cant handle big...
