Sharma Restaurant — Restaurant in West Bengal

Indecent and rude waiters. Specially waiter Mr Gupta is very impolite. He doesn't know how to treat customers. Food quality is good but the one who served the food on the table was just intolerant. Mr gupta even insulted us, he came upto our table and said that pls don't talk loudly it's a public place and have manners. I am very surprised to see that waiters here will teach us manners ?? And kids aged 4/5 years will talk loudly, so if he and his restaurant is so disturbed then they can stop families with kids to enter the restaurant. We booked table for 12 for our kid's birthday and they allowed it too and literally Mr Gupta insulted us infront of our guests saying that we are disturbing them. So why did the manager book our table for Birthday as it was informed to them in prior ???? I have the call recording also where we mentioned to book table for 12 and we will celebrate kids birthday by just cutting cake. Please learn basic manners. We don't go to your restaurant to eat for free. We pay for what we eat. I am very much disheartened with the behaviour of your staff today. If you have CCTV check it yourself the way your staff behaved with us. This was our last visit to your restaurant and i am sure loss of one customer will not affect you but remember loss of goodwill will surely affect you in long term. It's a restaurant too. great food with great taste is the main formula here. Not only regional but milti cuisines are available. It's also famous for its varied south indian food which has a great taste. I personally favour this restaurant whenever I have an urge to eat and I am in the city centre. It's equipped with air conditioning and the staff is very cordial and well behaved However the price is little bit high. My experience at Sharma Restaurant was extremely disappointing. The service was terrible — it took 45 minutes to get our food, and only after repeatedly reminding the staff. The employees were rude and seemed completely uninterested in helping customers. The place was good, with clean tables and with proper arrangement for napkins. The food quality was far below expectations, both in taste and presentation. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of time and money.
