AFTER LOCKDOWN There's no doubt that siraj serves one of the best and authentic food cuisine in durgapur, putting it's biryani and chicken chap at its top due to its renowned recognition from its kolkata foodology. I am always imbibed with great vives whenever wanted to try biryani in durgapur. Being a customer for a very long time...I can accurately advocate the drastic changes caused the changes in the taste of their food. It's serves a wide range of tasty dishes ..but it's biryani good ves a very tough competition in the culinary market of durgapur.

I have recently tasted the chicken and mutton biriyani, to check wheather after the pandemic.. what type of preperation and precautions are being taken by the management of this shop. But it was a bit disappointing that...the safety measures were a bit less compared to its fame. The staffs of the open counters were with any safty measures..that makes the food approach very bad.

And I also wanted to mention that...the chicken biryani ,I had tried earlier for several times..were so much perfect that..this time..the biryani was very pathetic. Normaly there were no problem with the rice. That was well cooked and fragrant with well cooked potato and egg. But, the chicken was so dry that it's hardness disgressed the quality. Even the raita which they offered were the worst money to value product. There were merely any onions and cucumber in my portion of raita. Don't know it can be a staff mistake may be.

So I would like to request the management of this shop to check these small things ..cause..we love to dine here so much...one of the best place to dine out...

Shiraj is famous for its biryani. And yes after tasting their biryani, I can say it was mouth watering.. The smell of meetha ator was so subtle and just the perfect that it was making the biryani more tempting. The special chicken biryani has 2 large pieces of chicken, one piece of soft mouth-melting potato and egg. The quantity of rice in one plate of biryani was too much for one person. I had biryani with plain raita. The consistency of the raita was just perfect. Food was served within 10-15 minutes of ordering. The staff behaviour was good. I am giving a 3 star for the atmosphere because the basin area was not that...
