SWAGAT — Restaurant in West Bengal

Here you can get variety of sweets and other food items.I tried Mysore pak, Kesar Rashmalai, Chhana toast, Rosogolla.All these were so tasty. I also oredered Rawa masala dosa which was really delicious. The owner is vey polite & humble. He gave me free trial of Rosokodom (famous sweet of Birbhum district - the sweet has a layer covering of posto(poppy seed)). The shop is well designed and decorated, air conditioned, hygienic, with great ambience.I would love to visit it...

The shop looks good, didn't get to try the snacks but tried 6 varieties of sweet and a lassi. Sweets don't feel natural and are spongy. Too much artificial flavor and expensive to the coochbehar palate. You would expect pure ghee sweets given the price, but it wasnt . The lassi tasted weird and felt like a gulab jal shake....

Very bad quality. Horrible standards and taste. Very high price and less quantity. Don’t visit. Only a Marwari family trying to loot common people. So typical of them. Selling old sweets, buying 3rd class milk. Avoid at all costs. Go eat at some bengali sweet shop. Help locals. These guys are just a bunch of outsiders trying...
