I recently visited Vasantha Bhavan and had an extremely disappointing experience. When I requested warm water, I was given water that was scalding hot. Upon asking for drinkable warm water, the server sarcastically suggested that I blow on it to cool it down, and that it might cool off under the fan.
The establishment also seemed to prioritize electricity savings over customer comfort. The fan was switched on and off based on the customer's seat, which was highly inconvenient, especially in this sweltering weather.
When I ordered idiyappam with vadacurry and coconut milk, along with poori and potato sabji, the server questioned whether I would actually consume the coconut milk to "avoid wastage." As a paying customer, this was completely uncalled for. Additionally, the server was incredibly rude and refused to replace the overly hot water despite multiple requests.
The portions of both the sabji and vadacurry were disappointingly small. After witnessing their dedication to saving water and electricity, I hesitated to ask if they were cutting back on food as well.
To top it off, the food took over 45 minutes to arrive, and the service was painfully slow. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this...
Read moreFew years back I have witnessed so much crowd and vehicles in and out for parking, but my recent visit wasn't pleasant. The floors were so dirty and the used tables weren't cleaned for a long time. Washroom was horrible. We thought, they will allow us to the hight balcony view table but no service for that area. We had our dinner at AC Hall, it was so messy and not at all clean. We ordered panneer Dosa, but we got masala dosa with paneer sprinkles. Masala dosa was average and plane dosa was very average. We liked the chilli parotta, uthappa with vellam and starter. Table was so dirty, that we asked to clean it again but the sticky dirt still stayed at the table. The plates & utensils were with white patches that made my friend freak out, coz he is a food quality manager at different venture. We kindaa disappointed by the food taste and service, that too price was more than medium range hotel, for a very average food quality. Do wear a mask and don't over order food...
