I visit this place for an andhra taste of punukulu specially for the combination with tomato chutney, Karappodi and the irani tea. We have limited options for Andhra food on OMR. Here "Tomato chutney and Irani tea" are the best among all Telugu snacks I have tasted in Chennai for the last 8 years.
Service - don't expect service here, it's a family / friends of people usually busy with their own personal talks and tasks, no one really care about a customer. As we go to eat, I never understood the token system here, it's not mandatory for every one, you can take time. For the first item you eat, rest all will be served without taken. You need to figure out who is a person to serve you, cook, or another customer like you. All I was talking about the road side bajji station. I have been used to this atmosphere.
I tried to have my dinner Some one came and took my order, I was waiting for the service, another perosncame and asked me what is my order, as the earlier person went out for some other work - didn't communicate to the cook what I ordered. !! Food is delivered aty table after few min, and that's it, nono e bothers you are, you want anything else, didn't even serve water and you can't find any one else around to call. If you want something, probably you have to go to the fridge and serve yourself - or go outside to the counter and ask. When I was asking this - Sorry Bro, I was busy and didn't realise, other people who are eating are my friends.
As simple as that. You want a restaurant type service, don't go here. If you are ok for self service and feel like home to roam around and get things done - good to go. I prefer better service atleast at dining, so I have no plans to go for dining here. Food is decent, maybe I will take a parcel if I want to have it.
If they really care about the business to get better - need improvements on few things A person should get engaged to customers orders / move the token system to the bajji station itself/ no token atall. Some one should keep watching on the dine in customers, atleast watch on the CC camera - if some one inside seeking help. Owners way of talking sounds rude / arrogant to new people ( they may not be - but the first few times I visited felt it- it may happend to new customers) Employees should focus on work than personal chit chats. In one word - improve the service to make the business to...
