I've been to this crescent restaurant over a dozen times, and it never disappoints! With a wide range of cuisines to choose from, there's always something new to try. The ambiance is spacious, clean, and comfortable, though it does get crowded during peak hours. Be prepared to wait and add your name to the queue—it’s a popular spot for good reason!
The Mutton Biryani is hands-down my favorite, absolutely delicious and worth every visit. Other standout dishes include the Basha Fish (a must-try), Dragon Chicken and Paneer—both packed with flavor. The soups, both veg and non-veg, are appetizing and well-seasoned. Garlic Chicken is tasty, and the Parotta is perfectly flaky and "adipoli" (excellent). Appam and Kadalai Curry are authentic and satisfying, and both the Butter Naan and Garlic Naan pair wonderfully with the non-veg curries.
The Kizhi Parotta is a must-try for something unique, and the seafood dishes are always fresh and flavorful. Chicken and mutton starters are also well-prepared. Service is generally quick, though it varies with the crowd, and they maintain great quality and quantity in every dish.
For desserts, the Elaneer Payasam is a standout delight and a must-try, and the ice cream and mojitos make for refreshing endings. Overall, I’ve never had any issues here—the food, service, and cleanliness are consistently excellent. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Kerala flavors with a...
Read moreSo we had been there for lunch as it was usual craving for authentic kerala food for my spouse. Crescent has never greatly disappointed us except on one occasion but that too was okay is not too bad. Coming to their Anna nagar restaurant. I must admit that the food was superb. Me being a vegetarian ordered veg food . Yum. The non veg wasalso great. Their food in every form is authentic. Kwrala Kadala curry was amazing. Their wheat and Malabar parts was too good. Their chicken gravy and gheerice combo was good too.But the combo pricing was on the higher side is what my husband felt as the race was more but the chicken curry with pieces was relatively less for the price. The taste was good is what he had mentioned. One little okayish food was paneer Tikka. Here again the Paneer was soft . So thumbs up to their quality. Only thing was I didn't have the tikka texture . Masals could have been a bit burnt to give that taste. Plus the masala was sweet. I could feel tomato sauce in the masla. But who would order Paneer in a kerala restaurant other than me !!!!. Nevertheless I have still rated then 4 star for their overall food quality and taste. They don't use additives to enhance the flavor.you also don't feel that irritating fullness like in a few other restaurants . Which is a big 👍 . The service was good too. So ,,

Read moreWe are staying at vanagaram, still used to visit the restaurant when we cms to annanagar.. Few months back when i went there, we had kerala appam and veg stew. My husband chose a different curry. After having food we were going back home, but wdn 15 mnts from starting there, i had stomach pain and urge ro go to toilet. Really it was an emergency situation some how i managed and reached home. After that 2-3 times i had diarrhea and took medicine. I thought it maybe bcoz of that coconut milk of the stew, coz it was spoiled. But we forgot the incident and didnt went there for long. Unfortunately yesterday we went there and ordered ginger chicken. After that today early morning me and my husband got realy worse diarreah and stomach pain.. We even went to dr coz of the extreme tiredness due to this. I dont kniw what this stupid resto serves their customer in the name of delicious dishes. It must be investigated by food safety department. So for all those who made a habit going to this resto, plz stay away, most of their dishes have food poison content.. Plz stay away if you are concious of...
