Definitely the best Tibetan food joint in the town (N one of the best momo serving joint of India!) A truly pocket friendly place with inviting food.

Location: If you are coming from choolaimedu signal/ Nungambakkam RS, you will get KK on your right side just 3 shops before Induslnd bank ATM/ opposite to the entrance of Chitra apartment  (Just look for the red signboard of ‘Fingerlick’, Finding KK for the 1st time isn’t a easy task.😉)

Ambience:  A little room with just 5 tables, congested (can accommodated max 12-15 people). Waiting time is sometimes 45-60 minutes, so takeaway is suggested. This place is certainly not recommended for family outing, get together of big group of friend or dating purpose (Strictly No.. unless you master in whispering). Lighting is not adequate. So Nothing to talk about ambience. No Parking Space.

Food: Portions are huge. Menu is limited , mostly revolves with 3 option Veg, Beef and Chicken. I have tried the following items so fur:

Chicken Momo: Undoubtedly momos are the masterpiece, doesn’t ‘matter whether it is steamed or fried. Stuffing is adequate, juicy and taste awesome with their home made sauce. Sauce is super spicy & has a smoky flavour. (I always asked for an extra sauce for later consumption).👍👍👍👍

Chicken Chowmein: Spicy noodles tossed with veggies & chicken pieces. A little on oilier side but taste delightful.❤

Tsotsemein: Noodles with mouth watering chicken gravy (tastes very close to Manchurian gravy).

Dhangthuk:  Noodles cooked in seasame oil. I prefer chowmin over this one.

Thukpa: The 2nd most famous dish of Tibet. Thukpa is delectable though the soup is oily.

Chopsay: 3 times went there to try their chopsoy, but still NO LUCK..

PS: Try to come by 12:30-1 when the entire Menu are available. though their shop is open upto 5:30-6 but only momos are available then.

A highly recommended place for some really good food without a pinch in...

Kailash Kitchen! Being one of my personal favourite and top in my recommendation list, idk how I forgot to make a review about thia place. Probably this place needs no introduction, as most of the Chennaites would be knowing it abd for people who doesnt know this place #KailashKitchen is the best place to try the local tibetian cuisine. Just go and try em out, it will disappoint you. I guarantee. Blogging about what we ate is too mainstream, so this review is gono be about the lookout dishes in #kailashKitchen. First and foremost, this will be the mandatory dish in your table- its none other than their MOMO's with their special chilli dip. ( ⚠ watchout while eating their chilli dip , a bit extra in the proportion will bring out the tears in your eyes. But this dip is simply the best.) And special mention to their BEEF FRIED Momo's ❤ Chicken Dhanthuk - its an noodles kinda dish cooked by tossed up in sesame oil, that their way of cooking. It has a special and different taste to it. And definitely a must try. Chicken Sapta / Beef Sapta- Its an semi dry kinda sides cooked the same way with a spicy mixture of spices. I'd personally recommend the chicken. These are my personal best recommendation from #KailashKitchen. And dont forget to buy a glass of pepsi, becoause you'll be needing one for sure if you have poor tolerance to spiciness. . The ambience is literally claustrophobic and poorly ventilated and the extreme crowd makes dinning even more uncomfortable. But believe me , the food is worth it. If dinning is really difficult, you have the freedom of take away. So Chill. 😋 Overall, Kailash kitchen Best...

Located amidst the busy crowded street of Choolaimedu, Kailash kitchen serves the best momos in the city. If you are visiting this place for the first time, I bet you'd be shocked to notice that the shop is located in a tiny spot of the building a little inside from the main road without any name-board.

As you enter inside, you have one more shocking scene waiting for you. You would be shocked to see that the entire restaurant has only 4 table (yeah, you read that right, just 4) where 4 people can sit in each table and thus only 16 people can sit inside the restaurant at once.

The interior is just amazing and exciting. It is occupied with Dalai lama's picture with bamboo styled decorations. Coming to the menu, it is just common menu with momos, noodles and desserts. The signature dish of this place is the momos. People from all parts of the city come and try their momos. The dishes are so good and moderately priced.

Except for the long waiting hours and small place, this restaurant is one of the few places in Chennai, where you can find the tastiest momos. Do check out this place and try out their...

Have been a fan of Kailash Kutch for years but most of there dishes have been gradually decreasing and going extinct. They don’t serve beef and thukpa anymore. They only serve steamed moms , fried momos , dhangtuk and chow mein - I still consider their momos to be the best in Chennai (Also Naga Reju will be my next fav ) with their spicy dip **drooling** dhangtuk is oily but hey have some fun sometimes we all deserve it. Chow mein is also good. If your looking for good food definitely try this place without any second thoughts. people talk about ambiance ignore them. I support good food over ambiance Also if you are looking for a wide variety of dishes you can check Naga Reju - this is just 5 mins away from Kailash kitchen located in the main road itself next to the junction
