Arya Warung — Restaurant in Bali

If you're looking for authentic foods, look no further. No more over sauced foods that are catered to tourists. When I arrived, I was a little lost as I didn't know what they sold, but the staff explained the items all in English, making my choice in ordering food easy. I had ordered Nasi goreng, mee goreng, lumpia goreng, ayam sayur and fuyung hai. They also sell kerupuk. The nasi goreng was the best and most authentic fried rice I've had so far, seasoned lightly, maintaining the flavours of the other ingredients. Also, I have to say this is, the grains are individual. The mee goreng similarly to the nasi goreng was well balanced, additionally the noodles still had a slight bite to them making them more enjoyable. Lumpia goreng more delightful I was expecting, I was thinking a heavily seasoned spring roll. But what I got was stuffed with vegetables of different flavours and texture. Despite being oily, it was very light. Additionally, they make the lumpia to order. It is served with a very light, sweet and sour sauce. Ayam sayur was not what I expected. The chicken was fried and cooked again with some vegetables in a savoury sauce. It goes really well with some rice. Fuyung hai was cooked to perfection, crispy edges with a chewy middle, it paired really well with the light sweet and sour sauce, and their chilli. This is the best place I’ve eaten in Bali so far and I’ve tried all kinds of warungs and western restaurants. I ordered lumpia and nasi goreng and my gf ordered the mie goreng with fuyung. All dishes were cooked perfectly. I took one bite of the nasi goreng and instantly decided this was where I want to eat for the rest of my stay in ubud.
