Pizza Napoli Style — Restaurant in Bali

I honestly don't understand the good reviews... We came to an empty restaurant at 6pm, and it took almost an hour to serve two undercooked pizzas that were most certainly not Napoli Style. This was at most American pizza. The Pepperoni pizza had no real Pepperoni on it, just local meat slices. The vegetarian pizza, which was supposed to contain six different vegetables including avocado, was as empty and sad as you can see in the picture. No avocado, and not even a handfull of really not the freshest veggies. The dought made me feel sick, when we realised it was almost raw... We left immediately and couldn't eat any of the food we ordered. We complained and decided to leave but the staff insisted in checking themselves that we were telling the truth. They kept making excuses for the poor quality and service. When he saw me opening the google maps to leave a review, he said he would buy us drinks if we needed... of course, we had already payed for our drinks. It was a very unpleasant experience. Chose this restaurant through reading Google reviews! We weren't disappointed with the friendliness of staff and quality of food! They had a great range of pizzas to choose from. Although there was a wait with multiple orders in the queue we had the owners two nephews come up to the roof top with our drink order. They stayed with us to talk with us and explain the delay and a bit about the business. They spent time with us while waiting on the pizzas being made and discussed how they helped out in the business to improve their English. Wayan (the eldest brother) was showing us photos of his schooling and skills he had acquired at his culinary classes. As soon as the food was ready the boys left us to enjoy our pizzas. Once we had finished they took us downstairs and introduced us to their Uncle that owned the business. Very friendly and funny guy and had us both laughing as we left. Thank you to everyone who left a review for this lovely place! We are staying quite south outside of Ubud town and did the 1.5 hour walk in and out today and are so grateful to have stopped here on our way back to our villa ❤️ Do not be fooled by the quaint entrance, there are 3 floors to sit and eat and the rooftop is lovely and open with 270 degree views. We chose to eat on level 2 as we were hot from the walk and there were fans 😉 We were greeted with such beautiful staff and service, pizza chef came to greet us after our meal and it was a wonderful interaction. We had 1 pizza to share, Napoli salami pork and 2 beers. Pizza was incredibly delicious. I think it is an amazing feat to create such good dough in the humidity of Ubud!!
