If you don’t have any allergies and enjoy a nice selection of vegan, vegetarian food and a beautiful atmosphere this place should be considered however if you are allergy prone beware as we and others have mentioned to over communicate and triple check because it could be a risk of pain or much worst like a hospital stay and not worth it.
My friend and I liked this space from the start. The atmosphere is calming and serene. The staff is kind and sweet and the vegan options were delicious. We visited this place for several days straight because of the above.
However just about every day we had to get our order corrected. My friend explained each time that she has an allergy with onion and garlic. Meaning she has painful stomach reactions to eating any onion and garlic that sometimes causes the need for medication. Yesterday we communicated that, as we have consistently. She took a bite and realized there was garlic. We advised the staff again and stressed how important it is. They corrected it to their best. But soon after we arrived home and all through the night she has been in severe pain and discomfort.
She made a review below hoping to make clear how serious and potentially dangerous this can be and to both our surprise the owner seems more concerned with the rating they received stating “Dear Mia I honestly don’t understand your review…we made 1 mistakes and you think we deserve your 1 star review?” Negating the other issues we consistently had but continued to return because they were corrected.
My friend has been suffering since the 1 of many but more serious mistakes were made. There wasn’t any concerns or apology for:
health of my friend (who is still suffering)
2.appreciating the investment we made in the restaurant by eating there a full week or more. This is unacceptable.
Especially noticing from previous reviews that this isn’t the only time allergy hasn’t been taken serious. But the approach of the owner was different and even included an apology to those previous experiences.
Allergies have the potential to be life or death is severe cases and should be taken serious when handling food.
Reviews are for the honest experience of the customer and to the benefit of the establishment to improve as well as to the benefit of future customers. Not to tear the restaurant down. My friend gave her honest experience. It should be appreciated and respected.
What’s even more interesting is that we have been referring this place to our friends and sharing it on our social media accounts as one of our favorites for food and possibly a retreat space. It sad that the owner couldn’t have taken serious our experience.
My review is reflective of our extensive experience at the restaurant as well as the response of the owner to my friend’s serious...

I recently visited Samyama Eatery restaurant in Bali, and I must say that it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The food quality was well below average.
The most glaring issue was the fries. They were reheated and lacked any freshness whatsoever. It felt like I was eating a sad, limp, and lifeless version of what should have been crispy and flavorful fries. They had been sitting around for a while, which was highly unappetising.
Additionally, the oil used for frying seemed past its expiration date. The fries were greasy and had a rancid taste. It was apparent that the restaurant needed to maintain the quality of its cooking oil, which greatly affected the overall taste of the food.
Considering my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The subpar food and lack of attention to basic culinary standards disappointed me. I regretfully won't be returning, as countless other dining options in Bali offer far better quality and service.
A restaurant needs to prioritise the freshness and quality of its ingredients, especially when it comes to something as basic as fries. Unfortunately, this particular establishment failed miserably in that regard. Save your money and taste buds and find a different...
Read moreI accidentally discovered Eat.Co.Bali on social and started following them. Always loved their pictures and them sharing new items on the menu. So, when in Bali, you visit Eat.Co.Bali and omg, do they live up to the expectiations. It wasn't really easy for me to find them (but that says more about me, I guess), but once found, it was not a dissappointment at all. The location is stunning, amidst green, green and green. So beautiful and peaceful. Their terraced restaurant has all kinds of funky nooks and corners, very playful. And then their menu, wow!! Not only colorful, but delicious as well. I had the Sea-cret Garden salad with sweet potato fries and carrotjuice. Healthy and tasteful!! I would definitely go there again and I absolutely recommend everyone that's visiting Ubud, to stop by...
