Been coming for years, even recommending the place to friends. Most of my friends had had bad experiences yet I still stuck around.
Have received multiple times baked goods that are lower than subpar. Cakes that were old, hard as a rock. They changed it, fine.
Prices that were not according to what's labelled. Forgiven too.
Recently received a rather late delivery (Monday), I don't mind. I asked for the order to be left outside. The cake delivered was not the size I paid for. They went round and round to check and came back 2 days later telling me they couldn't find this mistake in their database. Luckily the driver had taken pictures by himself and I had the proof of the box with my name on it (albeit someone else's name scratched and replaced with a sticker, my name on it).
On Thursday, they finally mentioned the refund.
On Friday, they asked to pick up the small cake (I've forgotten about it completely) and without mentioning a time to pick up the driver showed up. I checked with the staff and the driver if this will go back to the shop to be sold. The reply from the customer service was 'thank you' and it was insinuated / confirmed by other staff.
I spent approximately 10+ mill in this shop every month. To say it was disgusting was an understatement. I now question all their food handling, hygiene and moral ethic of the business. What else could they have done? As a customer, I wouldn't like to pay for a cake that has been sitting outside someone's door for an hour or two, in their fridge for 5 days without proper sealing.
26k and I'm finally leaving this shop, never again would I touch their fresh...
Read moreWHAT A SHAME ! I’m writing to express my complete frustration and disappointment with Bali Direct Store Pererenan.
Yesterday, I bought a bar of chocolate from your shop — it was completely spoiled, covered in white mold. When I brought it back, your staff refused to exchange or refund it because it had been 26 hours since purchase instead of 24. Really? Two extra hours make the difference between doing what’s right and hiding behind a meaningless rule?
I’ve been to your store more than 500 times, and honestly, at least a third of the time the products are rotten or past their expiration date. After countless bad experiences — moldy zucchini, sour dairy, wilted greens — I stopped coming for almost a year. I tried again yesterday, hoping things had improved, but clearly nothing has changed.
Your store management seems incapable of handling inventory properly. Instead of offering fresh, quality products, you keep trying to sell expired or spoiled goods. I even spoke to another customer yesterday who said he’s had the exact same experience. So it’s not just me — it’s a pattern.
If you’re not motivated to run a proper grocery store, maybe stop pretending you are. Selling bad food to loyal customers isn’t just unprofessional — it’s...
Read morethe store is cool. very disappointed with the online service. as well as online support and how to answer questions on WhatsApp. It's very wrong to complicate everything. everything should be simpler. In the end, I had to pay 18,000 for free delivery (there’s a store two minutes away by bike) if they had sent Gojek it would have been cheaper. but they categorically and urgently offered to spend the money. baked goods from another cafe and next time I will order directly the Café and what does this mean for the store? I could be satisfied with the service and still buy from them, and at the same time perhaps something else, so next time I’ll think about whether I need such a store. I was surprised that such low ratings for a cleverly created store - everything is simple - execution. a lot of staff and everything is useless. moral - in order not to be disappointed, you don’t have to...
