K&A Grill — Restaurant in Bali

This is the best ribs place you've neve heard of! I actually live very close to this restaurant but passed by it for the first 6 months because it didn't look so promising. Boy was I wrong!! The ribs here are easily on par with Naughty Nuri's and the pork chop is my favorite dish - griled to perfection with a slightly Jamaican style rub on it.

I could eat it every day if that wouldn't give me a heart attack. Even the hamburger, which my wife ordered, was great. This is a family run restaurant as well and the owner and his family are super friendly. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Service was nice. Waiting time short. Food extremely disappointing. Got a small ribs with fries and ice tea. The ribs tasted more like boiled with little to no taste of grill. Fries were overcooked and oily. Veggies was pathetic two tiny slices of eggplant and even a smaller three pieces of carrot. All dry and tasteless.

There are options of tasty grilled food in the are from 20 to 30k. So when the price is 3x more (98k for the ribs) I expect the food to be extraordinary or really good at least. I was very pleased with myself because I normally walk or get a Grab car, but I had taken my first ever Grab bike to K&A Grill. The delight of my scooter ride was amplified by a wonderful experience at K&A Grill.
