I used to really love this place a couple years ago, but a lot has changed since coming back. The food just isn’t as delicious and lost some of its homemade taste. The prices have gone up but the food quality has gone down. The steak sandwich we had Was exactly that steak on bread the bread was over toasted so it was a bit hard. There really isn’t much more to the steak sandwich. It only comes with a small salad when we thought it should come with fries or something a little bit more filling, and complementary to it. we also had the chicken curry which we asked to substitute the rice with steamed vegetables however, it was a very complicated situation asking the waitress for this to happen and it was completely misunderstood and so all we got was chicken curry without rice, but no side of vegetables on the side it was if it was just served without rice for the same price. Of course you can never go wrong and order coconut that is called at the store or any other place that will always make everything happy. The best highlight of this place was the dessert. We had the lemon Cheesecake which was absolutely amazing and whatever they do in the recipe please do not change this. This was the best part of our mail, which was the dessert. We would probably love to come back for the dessert, but maybe not the entrées or the food. The staff are pleasant when you arrive, however we found ourselves, always calling for assistance for them because they were never around for some reason. The atmosphere is great. They have upgraded the place recently and it shows a much more newer and pressure look. We think this would be a good place to come during the day and potentially work out. It has a indoor cold area...

Food is great, service is usually terrible and slow. They forget to bring you the hand towels, soup at 6pm and the bill after you ask. They also now charge 10k r for ice water. They are very stingy with their specials and of u miss them by one minute u lose out. I eat here almost every day. Plus most staff have trouble understanding English. But food is great and priced well.

This is an example of another review that explains my sentiment about the bad staff.

Thank you to the staff here because I will not be coming back. Took a chance because it looks like this has cool vibes and walked from potatoe head to Basil's Kitchen. Was not worth the walk. If you live close and don't mind indifferent staff and average food then this may be for you. The staff were not welcoming, the order was taken incorrectly and we fixed that before it came out. The size is less than elsewhere. Had to pay extra for a bottle of water I could have bought on the way and no cutlery or share plates provided until we were almost finished our meal. So if you want to train the staff as a customer then keep reminding them it is a service industry or go elsewhere. I took a photo of the view from the terrace. Like the food...

I went to this place 3 times on my trip to Bali recently. It ok. The dishes are not really that filling and many of them are filled with salad so there is very little protein or carbs. It's healthy and fairly cheap, taste is ok. They advertise that everything is 50k unless you order the tropical bowl which is 60k. I wouldn't go out of my way to go to this place and only went to this place 3 times because it was close, cheap and the presentation of the food is good. In terms of taste and quantity which is more important for me it's not the best.

Edit* I ordered the summer chicken bowl - Nicely presented and healthy but portion of rice in the middle of the place very small and only a few pieces of chicken. More than half the plate was filled was different salads. Not filling

2nd time I ordered the Tropical snapper Ceviche. Portion was tiny with very little fish and I had to order the Pad Thai, which was again the smallest portion of Pad Thai i have ever had,

3rd time I came for breakfast and ordered the smoothie bowl, which I didn't like.

I came 3 times, but it wasn't my choice. I was with my partner who wanted to go and take pictures of the attractive...

We ordered 5 dishes, most of them sucked. Beef rendang only 3 pieces of meat which were very tough and dry. There were baby potatoes in it, which was very weird. Pad Thai with prawns had bean sprouts and chives that were uncooked accompanying the dish, would have been much better if cooked and mixed well. Steak sandwich beef was tough and bread was tough. Vietnamese rice spring rolls were tasteless and wrapped very lousily, stuck to one another and fell apart from the start. Nasi goreng dish was the best. Complimentary pumpkin soup was good. Juices were alright. Coconuts were not fresh. Seats couldn't take a group of 8 properly. Space is squeezy and too near traffic. Indoors too dim. Service wasn't great. By far the worst meal of our holiday. Wouldn't recommend.
