I'm really disappointed with Gloriam Grills And Glamour.
I've been there a few times, and it's almost always empty. The big dining hall they have is supposed to be impressive, but it just feels empty and sad. They clearly wanted a lot of customers, but they're failing at it. The atmosphere is far from cozy; it's more like a big, empty space.
You'd expect the lack of customers to make the staff give great service to the few people who come in. But no, the staff seem more interested in chatting with each other than taking care of the few customers they have. It's really frustrating to see such unprofessional behavior.
And on top of that, the waitstaff's English is really bad. It's like they hired people who struggle to understand English. Even simple requests are a challenge for them, as they often don't get what we're asking. Both of the waitresses who served us were quite clueless.
Let's not even get started on the prices. They charge a lot for food that's not that great. For the same amount of money, you could find much better dining options in Bali. This restaurant in Seminyak, which oddly has "Glamour" in its name, doesn't live up to expectations.
What's even more perplexing is that it seems like the owners and management don't understand the clear issues with their service. The staff's problems with customer service and the lack of proper attention to guest feedback are evident.
I'm puzzled by the positive reviews this place manages to get. Are they genuine or just covering up how bad things are here? I'm not interested in finding out because I've wasted enough time and money at this disappointing restaurant. My advice: skip this place and try any other restaurant for a...
Read moreWe had an amazing dinner here last night. We have eaten well in Seminyak over the last week but this restaurant deserves a great review. Starting with Bruschetta on garlic bread which usually comes with 3 pieces. They were attentive enough to bring out 4 portions for the two of us, which was a really nice gesture. The pasta was superb, arriving at the table steaming hot, perfectly seasoned with a generous amount of garlic prawns. My daughter ordered the meatballs which she also really enjoyed. For sides we ordered the sautéed asparagus and roasted potatoes, both really good as well. The restaurant itself backs onto a huge open field of greenery which is illuminated at night. A beautiful backdrop. It was a Tuesday night and very much empty, which is surprising considering the quality and modest prices. Maybe it was an anomaly, but hopefully more people will discover this hidden gem and will bring the business...
Read moreIf I had to sum up this place in one word, perfect 👍. I couldn’t fault anything. Great service, great atmosphere and unreal food. I was full after the starter that I had. Which was the octopus and salad. I love octopus but have never had it taste like this before, it was so good. But of course when the main came out which was the lobster, I somehow found the room to fit it all in. I come from New Zealand so I’ve eaten a lot of lobster or crayfish as it’s known over home, so we normally eat it with our hand but since I was in a fancy place like this I didn’t want to be rude. So knife and fork it was which I found a little hard trying to pick it out but I got there in the end. I also enjoyed happy hour which went for a few hours, so it was buy one drink and get one free. Overall the night was perfect. Thanks so much to all the stuff at gloriam I’ll definitely be recommending ur restaurant...
