Bean Cafe Canggu — Restaurant in Bali

it’s absolute insane. they have coffee beans in the menu, so you can buy coffee of your choice to pour at home. I asked to show me beans that are suitable for pour over and chose some washed from sumatra and asked to grind them accordingly. I don’t know what kind of training did they get, but almost nobody knew what should they do, and finally i just got a plastic (!) pack of something glued with a scotch (!). of course this is not how this kind of coffee supposed to be packed. when I tried to pour a V60 at home I got just some poisonous taste in my mug. I’ve tried another pour options of course, but all of them failed as well. before choosing the beans I asked about which beans are suitable for hand pour and which are not. this one were supposed to be a washed sumatra beans, but according to the taste they sold me a basic overfried espresso blend for a cost of speciality coffee. not recommend anyone to buy beans here. place is definitely lacks a bunch of personnel training, who knows how they...

One of the most comfortable cafes I've been to in Canggu! The sofas are great and I love the big windows tobe able to see what's going on in the street.

Unfortunately the food is just average and not as listed on the menu. Every single breakfast item is egg-based, so I ordered the avo toast, which does NOT mention egg. Still, it came with an egg and missing three of the toppings that were listed on the menu: onions, sprouts and pomegranate. When I asked the staff about it, they just said they didn't have those ingredients. That would've been fine but please tell the customer if you don't have something so they can order something else! 130k for a coffee and a subpar avo toast on the cheapest possible bread is not...

Such a cute find in Canggu!

We've driven past this mostly everyday on our trips down to the beach and we always so that we must try it one morning. Been in Canggu for 2 weeks now and wished we tried it sooner.

The decor is bright and vibrant, so many little details like the flower spoon with my coffee and little bit of cake on the plate. Really great workspace, bright & not noisy despite the traffic outside.

I had the tropical smoothie bowl which was filling & delicious, really creamy with homemade granola which I've learned by now - the Balinese make so well! Really good coffee, attentive staff and fast wifi.

We'll be back here again & again...
